Brooks are game changers whether you use them as a walker, or a runner. I love the comfort and support they offer, while still allowing you to feel completely connected to the feeling of being almost barefoot, it’s quite a skill to make a shoe like this. I purchased the Glycerin 22 size 9.5 which is half a size bigger than my last purchase of Glycerins around 5 years ago or more. My foot may have expanded however I think there may be a little less room in the toe area in this new upgraded model. Either way, quality, comfort, style and function are all 5 star and I shall be purchasing another pair before too lond.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love running and these are the Glycerin 22 are the most comfortable running shoes i have ever owned. They are light and very comfortable. I need another pair.
Very comfortable and durability. Great price highly recommended
I've been wearing Glycerin shoes for several years...the most comfortable "walking shoe" around. It's like walking on a pillow but better. I wear them every day. I originally got them for my plantar fasciitis, for which I needed steroid shots, but have not had one reoccurrence since finding the Glycerin style. I've had the 19, 20, 21 and now the 22. My 19s were still in great shape because I rotate them so I donated them to a woman's shelter. The toe box is roomy, so no need for an extra wide, which I would need with any other sports shoe. I only wish that you would make a pretty green color. The size is spot on. The fit is comfortable from day 1.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a fan of the Glycerins for a few years now, and these are no exception. The fit is pretty similar to the Glycerin 21, with a good amount of room in the toe box. They’re very plush and comfortable, with lots of padding at the heel. They’re comfortable out of the box, although they take a little wearing in to loosen up the sole, and maybe fit just a touch short with the extra heel padding. Compared to the Glycerin 21, these clearly have some extra bounce under the forefoot for someone who forefoot strikes.
These run true to size.my shoe size is Women’s 10 in most shoes and my foot is on the wider side. I love the glycerin 21’s but I had to get a women’s 10 1/2 or a men’s 9…. These 22s I got in a women’s 10 and they fit better then my 10 1/2s in the 21s!! So cute too. The cushioning is great but it is much stiffer if that makes sense. Not as squishy as the 21s but these 22s are great still. Very cushy just different then the 21s…. Also these are more aesthetically pleasing and look great in my big size Women’s 10… .If you have big feet you know what I’m talking about lol ..love they put a pull tap on the heel to make it easy to slip on ….. Try them out . They are great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin 22 is not only a cute shoe, but is very functional. This pair of shoes is my new go to for athletic shoes. They have been a great option for when I am working all day on my feet and for my daily exercise. They have a wider base which took a little getting used to for me, but once I did I have loved everything about the shoe. There is a noticeable difference when I put on the shoes in how I feel. The shoes are very light and they provide great support. I occasionally deal with hip and back pain when exercising and I haven’t noticed any pain when using these shoes. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
These shoes are extremely uncomfortable ! I have tried to wait it out, but because I work in healthcare I am on my feet a whole lot! These are the worst shoes I have ever owned! The design of the shoe is not made for feet! The back and middle of the shoe is to high & thick and not even or inline with the front of the shoe, causing strain on my legs and feet with every step I take! And the 1st week of me wearing these shoes, after I would take them off, the bottom of my feet would be burning! This has NEVER happened before! I hate wearing these shoes, I can’t stress that enough! I let a coworker of mine try them on today and her sentiments were the exact same as mine! These shoes are difficult to walk in and wear! I feel like I’m trying to keep myself from rocking back and forth with every step and because the shoe is not even or evenly distributed in a way that works , they make my feet and legs hurt! Overall the design of the shoe is not made for feet! I would like to return them and get a full refund! Im to scared to even try a different pair of Brooks! No Thank You! This is by far the worst pair of shoes I have ever owned and ever purchased for work! I wear a size 7 shoe, I purchased a 7 1/2 and my toes hit and touch the very front of the shoe! They fit just right, and I have 0 extra room! Anytime I have ever purchased a size 7 1/2 shoe I have always had extra room, but not with these shoes! Overall this is a very ill defined, terribly Made shoe.
My go to run shoe! I have 3 diff pair to rotate them out. I have flat feet and I over pronate so I needed the gts and a lot of times stability shoes don’t have a lot of cushion but the glycerin 22 hits the spot. I’ll also say I had the glycerin 20 and 21 and I PR’ed my marathon time by 20+ minutes in the 21 so I was already fan of the glycerin and the 22 just got that much better. Will continue to buy again please don’t get too crazy if you make a 23 these are already doing so well! Maybe a little more support in the arch because I had an injury and noticed the inner sole wearing down on the food that had the injury so you could see the creasing
I’ve been running in the Brooks Glycerin 22 for a few weeks now, and they’ve quickly become my go-to shoes for both long runs and everyday wear. The plush cushioning is incredibly soft without feeling unstable—perfect for absorbing impact on longer distances. The fit is snug but not tight, with just the right amount of room in the toe box. I also appreciate the breathable upper mesh, which keeps my feet cool even on warmer days. Overall, the Glycerin 22 delivers an ultra-smooth, comfortable ride with great support. Highly recommended for runners who prioritize cushioning and comfort!
