After having this tent for a year with numerous outings in the summer and freezing temperatures, I am confident in giving this tent 5 stars. The ventilation is surprisingly great in the summer and the insulating ability in freezing temps is awesome. I could comfortably change when it was freezing outside! I love the number of storage pockets and little loops in the ceiling for lighting options. The front vestibule is second to NONE. BIG game changer for those who get incredibly filthy on their adventures to have a nice easy spot to de-robe while being out of the elements. Ive lived in tents for months at a time for work and this one would be great, so as a weekend or family tent... Chef's kiss. I'm a 5'2" female and could pop this up and down all by myself, no problem. The materials are quality. The ONLY criticism I have is the storage bag... could have a better closure system... but that's nit-picking. LOVE THIS TENT!

I want to love tent, it’s extremely roomy and the vestibule is a wonderful feature however upon experiencing rain, the tarp did not hold up, water leaks through the tarp and condensation gathers easily it’s an issue inside the tent itself as well when I felt that the ceiling is wet. Huge bummer because I bought the tent in 2023 and it’s only been able to see a 3 trips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last summer for car camping with a family of 3 + a big dog. It's held up well on 4 big trips and in plenty of rainstorms. Pros: Optional vents keep it cool in rainy weather, good amount of windows to open, plenty of interior storage pockets, cords running along the top are great for hanging up damp stuff. Vestibule is roomy enough for a shoe pile, a firewood stack, or a quick meal in rainy weather. Zippers work smoothly. Cons: Windows don't open from the inside, storage bag provided is not structured at all and packs up pretty bulky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this tent for a year now in everything from hot dusty dry, to rainy and windy, from the desert to the mountains, to the lakeshore. It is a great tent with a great amount of space and the vestibule makes for a great versatile area, we've put our bikes in there on mountain biking trips, its great to take off wet clothes out of the rain before climbing in your tent, and its a great place to put a chair and have some sitting room. My only real complaint is that the vestibule walls don't come all the way down to the ground and there is a couple inch gap that wind does find its way under but I haven't really found it to be problematic. Overall a great tent that gets compliments every time we go out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A formidable fortress, a roomy abode, and after four decades of searching, my favorite tent. Loved the V1.0 so much I just picked up the newer version. TNF has tamed the difficulties with setting up V1.0 and improved the design by going with a rain fly attached to the vestibule. I'm 6'6" and have easy headroom. I use a queen air bed and there's plenty of extra room. For me the best part, what sets this tent apart, is the front vestibule. It's brilliant, spacious and tall. Shrugged off thunderstorms & snow squalls and kept comfy down to 20F. Love it! O.K. it's huge. Not for everyone. But if a bomber base camp with high comfort is your goal check out this bad boy.

Stayed dry during a whole day rain and wind storm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had one full day where it was heavy rain. Windy at night with 40+mph gust. Tent held up perfect. A few drops of water here and there inside the tent but it probably was condensation. The vestibule was really useful. Only thing I would have liked was if the front door had the option for a full cover instead of just the mesh, it might have helped when it got cold at night to keep some of the cold air out and the warm air from the heater inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time setting up took a bit of time as there are no directions included with the tent, but figured it out after 20+ mins. Like that it is big and tall at the center but even with 2 air mattresses only 4 people fit in it comfortably (not sure how 6 would!) Don't like that the main entrance to the tent on the vestibule side is only mesh and doesn't have a solid door. I don't know how we are going to keep warm in the cold mountains of Colorado with only a mesh door. Love the enclosed vestibule, it for 4 of us in it with our camping chairs (kind of cramped but we made it work) when the wind really picked up and we thought it was going to rain. Needed to add an extra tarp to the floor of the vestibule as the tiny footprint mat wasn't big enough. Overall it's a good tent, just wish some of those other things would get fixed about it to give it a 5 star review.

This thing is reliable and won't break down easy on me like previous tents. More room than I expected too. One negative is a i wish the floor was the tarp floor so that it was stronger and didn't need the floor mat.

We purchased this tent after lots of research on weather proof tents and we set it up in our yard to try it out. It started raining shortly after, and for the following three days. We continually checked for leaks and found none. Set up & take down were very straightforward. We are very happy with this purchase.
