Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

I received this product from REI to review as a Trail Blazer. This is a fantastic light weight rain jacket for a 6'2" woman. I love the color, a Sage Green and true to what it appears on the computer screen. The jacket is trully light wt and I love the tapered cuff at the sleeve where its longer on the outer edge. It was pretty cool in Portland this week and a fleece jacket fit well under the size L that was tested. Would be great as a spring jacket as well. Here are the pros about the features: - Check pocket is great for storing a snack when out on the trail - Double zipper at bottom when sitting on a rock or a bench - Adjustable hood in the back with toggle instead of just velcro which never adjust as well - long length for taller women - great easy zip pockets Cons: only comes in two colors. Would be nice if this longer version came in more variety of colors as its sister jacke REI Co-op XeroCloud 3L Rain Jacket did.

I received this jacket for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my very honest review. Fortunately, this was easy since it is my new favorite raincoat. I have had it out hiking, snowshoeing, in good weather and 33 degrees with slop coming down out of the sky. I stayed dry and there was no problem with condensation. It packs down small and at 11.3 ounces so it doesn’t add much to my pack weight. Overall a great jacket. Pros: Fit: loose enough to layer under, and long enough to keep your rear dry when you sit down. But not long enough to get in the way. The double ended zipper allows unrestricted movement when I am scrambling up steep rocks. Or sitting in my car. Hood: I'm a hood connoisseur, and this one checks all the boxes. Big enough to protect my face and can accommodate a helmet when needed Pockets: Deep pockets, placed so they are easy to get into. Cell phone pocket is on the outside for easy access. Cons: I would probably not use this for my search and rescue activities because we are usually crawling through bushes and branches. But I have heavier duty coats for that. 98% of the time this coat is perfect. Overall, a great jacket. I would highly recommend.
I've really enjoyed it so far! The fabric is pretty soft but repels water well. I looove the stone green color. The longer length is also a really nice option - I'm tall, and it can be tough to find regular-length jackets in women's sizes that fit well. This gives me full coverage, and even the sleeves are long enough. But my favorite part by far is the HOOD! This might be my first rain jacket with a hood deep enough to completely keep the rain off my face, even with glasses on. My only complaint is a pretty minor one. I wish it had pit zips to vent some heat, like the regular-length version does. It might not be my go-to for active use for that reason, but otherwise it's already become a staple for casual daily wear in the PNW rain.
I'm happy with this coat! I am not sure if the Long is meant to be for tall people or just more coverage. I am short - 4'11" - so this fits sort of like a trench coat which is what I was looking for. The bottom unzips and is good for biking. The sleeves are long on me but have Velcro wrists so they can cinch. I'm 140 lbs and this feels like the right fit to be able to layer underneath, but a smaller size would be a slimmer fit I think. I've been using it on damp days biking around the city.
I recently bought this raincoat for my trip to Iceland and I can’t tell you how happy I am with the way this coat protected me from 55 mph winds and rain. It is also lightweight. I put a fleece layer under it for warmth and at one point the wind chill dipped below zero and I was fine. I am very grateful to have had this coat. The length was perfect below the hips. I highly recommend this raincoat and love the pockets too.
I really like this jacket so far. The material seems durable and isn't too loud, like other rain coats. I love that it packs into its own pocket. It will definitely be my go-to to take on hikes and Red Rocks concerts this summer.
I really like the length however... Long body doesn't need long arms. I'm 5'3 130 lb and the extra small is a little snug especially in the hips and the shoulders. The arms however go all the way to the ends of my fingertips. I do appreciate the double zipper, the coat zips from the top and the bottom. So you can enjoy the length to cover your booty without being restrictive if you need to maybe do some high stepping or sit down. It appears that the material is a good water repellent material. I wear it out in today's torrential downpour and did not get wet. It seems thinner than most other Gore-Tex style coats. However time will tell if it lasts with its waterproofing. I would say it's a great coat I think I should have a small in size-wise. The hand pockets great placement for being a long coat being up high. The hood little janky. It could be a little bit nicer.
Bought this rain jacket at the recommendation of an REI team member. I wore the jacket almost daily during a recent trip to Europe. While out sightseeing I got caught in a torrential downpour more than once and I stayed completely dry. I like the fact that it is longer in length and has an hood, both of these details ensure full rain protection. Another bonus is that it packs down small inside of itself which is important as I travel light. I bought the jacket in black so I can also wear it to work throughout the year and look professional. I am sure it will hold up well for hiking and more travel. Highly recommend.
We purchased this REI branded 'waterproof' jacket at a local REI store. My daughter was about to embark on a 2 week backpacking trip and needed a waterproof jacket. After purchasing we returned home. It started raining that same afternoon and thankfully my daughter was wise enough to test this out and make sure it was indeed waterproof. After standing in a light to moderate rainfall for less than 5 minutes she quickly determined that this coat was not waterproof - water was visibly seeping through her sleeves. Fortunately, REI allowed us to return the coat. However, this was disappointing considering the prices that REI charges and the understanding that quality should go hand in hand with paying a premium price. I would not recommend this item to someone in need of a waterproof jacket and am disappointed that it was advertised as such.
