As of today, I have 474 miles on these Rivera's. I have enjoyed every mile. They have been my go to daily miler, and can pick up the pace if needed. Great fit, great ride, I'd say foam held up well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received these from the company, my first thought was how the toes looked a little funny. Once I got them on my feet, I I didn't care how they looked.... Soo comfy! After having put 35 miles on these shoes, I have to say I they are like running in pillows. I don't get any foot fatigue from running on the road. I hope they hold up for the long term. On the trail, they cushion every rock. The tread lacks a little aggressiveness for steep climbs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These running shoe feel to be high end. They are super breathable, wide enough for my feet and have plenty of cushion! They make me want to run further and longer. The only down fall is the shoe laces seem to untie if you don't double knot them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These MEN'S RIVERA 3 shoes are very light, super comfortable and fit me feet just right. I am very surprised at how light these are when I am wearing them and during my daily jogs. It really feels like I have on only socks and these MEN'S RIVERA 3 cushion my feet and helps in my stride. I like the clean, simple design of these MEN'S RIVERA 3 and how breathable my feet are when wearing them. These MEN'S RIVERA 3 shoes have far exceeded my expectation and I will purchase another pair to wear daily to work. Having the extra cushioning and being extremely light, when I'm done with jogging, my feet no longer hurt nor do I have blisters. Overall, these MEN'S RIVERA 3 shoes are a great choice and I am now a fan of Altra.

I have problem feet: one flat, one high arch. The latter is an adaptation related to a non functioning peroneal nerve which was amputated. Finding shoes that are comfortable helps minimize my neuropathy, poor propioception, and so my gait disturbance. Altras have been good for me, and since I have a narrow heel, these are perfect in terms of fit and comfort. However the uppers do seem of very light construction, so I’m concerned they won’t be durable. And holy Moses are the laces short, and since they’re flat laces, double tying them is imperative. There’s barely enough lace for an inch of double tied bow.

As a longtime Altra fan, I am disappointed in the past couple of pairs of shoes. The original Rivera's were ok but the left tongue always slides into the outboard side. I have had a few pairs of Escalante's, a bunch of Superior's, 2 pair of Timp's and a few discontinued models. By far, the best pair of running shoes I have ever run in were the 4. The stack height and feel were perfect, why did you change them? My wife got me the Rivera 3's for my birthday and they fit well, felt great on my first few runs but yesterday I saw that the soles were already starting to come apart. I really wanted to like these but with the sole coming apart its hard, I guess I'll have to glue it and hope it's going to hold and not spread. Come on Altra, i really really dont want to have to find another brand after a good relationship of almost 10 years.

I am distance runner. The Rivera 3 is fits well and great for stabilization. However, would not recommend this shoe for long distance running. Purchase this shoe in August 2023. With in 39 days, the right shoe tore up my right heel up. Not great quality shoe.

Comfortable, love the blue color, barely hit a stick walking and the mesh ripped, not a huge fan of the exterior material they used as it is also hard to keep clean.

The show was great for about a month, but the top fabric is very thin and weak. The shoes already have multiple holes in the top near the toes, I reached out to the altra customer service through multiple channels and I haven’t gotten any response from them.

It’s so narrow! Narrower even than my brooks ghost. Be very careful with new altra models, they’ve been straying far from their roots.
