So far so good. They ARE comfortable, I replaced the insoles with a better quality (in my opinion) sole, The zipper stays up, I was worried, as there were poor reviews, they seem to lock at the top and a little harder tug releases it. Pulling them on and off is a solid effort but loc a finger in the loop at the back they slide on nicely, It isn't "cold" here yet OCT Maine 32deg, but they seem warm. I know they are "waterproof", but, I will be treating them with water proofing soon, wanted to break them in first. The tongue was sort-of lost at first and pinched a bit at the ankle, but a few times pulling it up and centering it and it seems to be okay. I don't "hike" a lot, but am on my feet working all day, so they get some miles. I'll look forward to some good use from them, Merrell has provided a quality boot for me for many years now and I am optimistic these will be no different. Size is true in an 11R
These winter boots are extremely warm, waterproof, comfy and GRIPY! I bought the mens ( as i could not find this in womens). Ive worn them in the rugged Adirondacks.. they are great with spikes, crampons, Hey and snow shoes too.. The support on the sides of these kept my ankle from snapping when i fell. I honestly feel like if I didn’t have these boots on, I would have needed it to be rescued. Did i say warm? Been out for hours in ice and snow on 15 mile hikes and my feet were warm and dry… honestly the best winter boots… ive hiked extreme mountains over the past 20 years… these are amazing !
I purchase this boots because of its 600 grams of insulation. I work outside, rain, snow, sleet, wind, I must be at work constantly outside rarely indoors. The Moab 3 Thermo Xtreme kept me warm during the Polar Vortex we’re experiencing in NYC. Not only they are warm but comfortable. I am very happy in making this purchase.

Boots are 600g insulation and not warm enough. I wore 2 socks, One organic cotton and one alpaca. I live in RI USA and the temperature doesn’t really get crazy but one week it did reach single digits and the boots just didn’t keep me warm enough.
We appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
Awesome boots! Comfortable with awesome grip on the soles. Affordable. Climbed Glacier Point, Cloud's Rest, and Half Dome in these boots.
We appreciate it!
3rd year and 3rd pair. By far the best winter work boots I've ever had. Please keep this product available
Thank you for the great rating!
