I can't believe it fits.

I'm 6' 5" and I've got a two person tent. This pad filled the floor of my tent except a few inches above and below (see the photos) which left just enough room for shoes and other gear. The insulation qualities are amazing. During my camping trip, the temperature hit mid 30's and got a bit rainy. I had nothing between my bag and the ground but this pad and I didn't even feel the cold from below me; above was a different matter, but I was impressed. My buddy and I slept head-to foot comfortably side by side, and neither of us are terribly thin. During some testing at home before the trip, my wife and I were able to be quite comfortable shoulder to shoulder. Getting the pad set up is pretty dang easy- unroll and walk away for a few minutes. So, set up the tent, unroll the bag, and set up something else in the camp, attach the pump and hit it a few times just to firm up the pad a little. I tend to toss from back to side naturally during the night, so I can confirm that you can sleep on your side with this pad. Getting it broken down is also fairly simple, but a bit more athletic. Rolling up a sleeping bag is relatively easy, but this pad needs some squashing. Thank god that out valve works well. I started by popping open the out port and laying on the pad. That deflated it enough for me to fold it in half long-ways and then I knelt on it to roll it up. The included straps are a necessity in order to get it back in the carry bag. All in all, five stars. Once you know how to use this pad, it's fantastic. Definitely a car camping pad (at nine and change pounds) but worth every ounce of that and then some.

Nice Sleeping Pad for Car Camping/Home.

This is a comfortable sleeping pad that is easy to inflate. It will self inflate (I did not test this out, it can be inflated with a manual pump(bellows) that it comes with, and you can get a rechargeable pump. The rechargeable battery powered pump inflates it fast and is super easy to use. The manual pump takes a little bit but is easy to use and straightforward. The pad is comfortable to sleep on. It is approximately 4 inches thick and insulated. The insulation keeps you warm and the thickness helps with staying comfy in rougher terrain. It's to heavy and big for backpacking but for campground camping it at home it's nice. Rolling it up tight was a little difficult. Luckily the pump also can be turned around to help deflate it. Overall I like it but it's so big even when rolled up I couldn't give it 5 stars.

Comfortable and portable sleeping pad

This sleeping pad takes all the positive qualities of a typical blow up mattress and compacts it into a more portable sleeping pad. It is larger and heavier than a backpacking mattress (and has a pump), but otherwise fits any other uses for a sleeping pad/inflatable mattress. The pump inflates and deflates very quickly and easily. You can inflate it to get very firm if desired, but you can also easily inflate/deflate to meet your desired firmness. Due to its short height, you can step on it or move around with minimal disturbance to the other person on the pad, which is an advantage over larger air mattresses. Overall a comfortable and portable sleeping pad that is now my go to for any non-backpacking use.

dissappointing - would not purchase

Pros: honestly, I don't have many positive things to say about this product. I suppose it's lightweight for what it is. I guess the built in pocket for the repair kit is nice and the velcro cinch straps for re-packing are handy (if you can get it back down to deflated size). The fact that there are two valves on the mattress - one for inflating and one for deflating - is good, but being that the product doesn't work as it should those positives are negated. The pump is good in theory, but only for topping the mattress off with air (but it's no good for actually inflating the mattress). Cons: the "compacted" product is very bulky. It arrives in a somewhat reasonable size based on what it actually is, but of course it's absolutely impossible to get it back to the state in which it arrives. I spent a good amount of time and energy - multiple times - to repack it and had a difficult time even getting it back in its own bag. The biggest issue i have is that it is NOT self inflating; i have tested the product twice and had the same experience both times. after about 40 minutes of little inflation i got out the pump so that i could at least test the comfort to see if it was worth buying a real pump. i wasn't very impressed with the comfort either. if it's fully inflated it's like sleeping on a wood floor; if it's slightly deflated you can feel everything underneath you. to inflate the mattress with the provided pump is a workout in itself - it took about 10-15 minutes to do from the state the mattress was after 40 minutes of "self-inflating." overall i found the whole experience a frustrating expense of energy for no return on my investment. it's too bulky, too difficult to inflate, too difficult to deflate and repack, and not comfortable enough for any of the effort. even though it was free to me i still want to return it. definitely not worth the retail cost. i'm pretty disappointed.

Great two person mat for car camping

This is a very good and comfortable two person sleeping mat for car camping. Self-inflation feature of this mat works decently well and it comes with a hand pump should you be in a rush to set up. The mat is really pretty thick (7.5 cm) and it was more than big enough for me, my fiance and our dog (we are both 5'7'' and around 140 lbs). Normally we use our backpacking mats that are ultralight - but this means that there is a big bap between us. This two-person mat provides a completely flat surface so that two people can cuddle and move around freely without falling off an edge every time you try to turn around. It basically filled out the entire floor of our tent! It is also surprisingly quiet compared to our backpacking mats! My fiance woke up several times during the night but never once woke me up. Moreover, our dog enjoyed the continuous flat surface just as much! There was so much room that she was able to move around during the night. I'm also very pleased with how warm it kept us all. It reached a low of 42 degrees but I and even my dog who just slept on the mat were all warm enough all night. The mat is also very comfortable especially if you tend to sleep on your back. This is one possible downside of having one sleeping mat for two people: you're going to have to compromise on the firmness. I'm more of a side sleeper usually but found it a little too firm for sleeping on my side. I opted for sleeping on my back and once I fell asleep I slept like a baby all night. My fiance likes to sleep on his back and thinks it's the most comfortable camping mat he has ever slept on. Overall I think it's a great mat for two people - it enables me to be close to my fiance and dog while still cushioning enough that their movements don't wake me up at night. It's definitely intended for car camping as it's pretty heavy and bulky but it is well worth having it if you have the room.

luxe car camping pad

This sleeping pad combines air and memory foam to make for a super-warm and infinitely adjustable (firmness level) sleeping pad that doesn't take up too much space! A lot of similar pads are very thick, but this has just the right amount of thickness to pack down into a manageable size and provides more than enough insulation to sleep warm. This pad is almost exactly the size of a full bed and covers the full floorspace of my large-ish 2-person car camping tent and works well for car camping with my dog (2 people + dog is also doable if you're willing to get cozy). Really appreciate that it comes with a mini pump, and it also works as good mattress topper for sleeping guests on a sofabed! super versatile and nice to have.

Warm and comfortable

Pretty good overall, very comfortable and warm. Thickness is enough that it's pretty comfortable and adjustable softness, pretty luxurious by camping standards. Insulated more than enough for winter/cold weather camping. Included hand pump works pretty well. Fairly light for the size (fits almost perfectly in the back of my suv) but it does take up some space and effort to deflate and roll back up. Also like the dark color so it doesn't stand out a ton in the back of a car.

Most comfortable camping sleeping pad

This was the most comfortable sleeping pad I've ever slept on while camping. Our tent was set up in a pretty rocky and rooty area but we were unable to tell at all during the night. The memory foam in the pad really helped our situation because my wife was able to lay down and nurse our 6 month old baby to sleep and get up without bothering the baby once she had fallen asleep. The sleeping pad didn't make much noise when turning around or getting up, which we loved as it aided in the baby staying asleep. All around, this sleeping pad provided a great sleeping experience. The only reason I give it four stars is that it's really bulky and takes up a lot of luggage space, as well as it being difficult to roll up and get back in it's bag.

Great mattress for two!

Love this mattress for our family camping outings! It’s perfect for our two kids to share! Plenty of space for the kids and they have room to sleep without touching one another. It would be good for adults as well, we just already had one. The only reason I gave a 4/5 is due to the difficulty of the pump it comes with. The idea is great, I just haven’t been able to figure out how to use it effectively. Other than that, it’s a wonderful product!

Great sleeping pad. Very comfortable. Only had the opportunity to use this a few times since i got it. My daughter got sick so i used it to sleep on the cold floor so she could have the bed. Comfortable and warm. Seems to be very well built. I couldnt give five stars yet since i have used it a ton. Wouldnt hesitate to buy again.
