Beware, boot will shatter!
Worst quality boot I have ever owned or heard of, and stunningly poor customer service and refused to stand behind their product. (You gotta see the pictures, shocking.) Columbia used to have a good reputation for both, but not now. Never wrote a review like this, as I'm usually easy going. Bought these a few years ago for cold weather, and rarely wore them so they were in new condition (no wear and no damage). First time worn this winter the outer synthetic shell just shattered into lots of pieces, leaving the lace up neck and the sole in two separate pieces. Never seen that before. Customer service refused to do anything, acknowledge the defect, or talk to me. Lots of reviews around the internet reveal this is a common problem, defective material. When I submitted the claim and before it was complete, Columbia sent a closed case notice several times within a couple days without providing any response or information. Took a lot of effort to get past their automation to reopen the claim, sort of. They never talked to me. Couldn't believe it. Wow!
comfortable and warm
I’m very happy to finally got this boot because the brand is very successful and great quality. I do wish there more different color but I’m cool with black boot. I know my feet size is 11 and usually get boot size 10. So Columbia boot 10 was too small and so I end up getting 11. It fit perfect and nicely comfortable. It is alittle tight but my feet feel warm in this boot. Thanks for big sale 50%!!!
Toasty Warm - Anatomically Misaligned Structure.
Bought these for a trip to Yellowknife NWT. Boots did an excellent job of keeping my feet warm in sub-artic temperatures. However, they were not good for a bit of hiking. There seems to be an anatomical structure problem with the boots I had to keep stopping as they affected my gait and produced a great amount of hip pain. I switched to my Berghaus boots and the pain was immediately relieved.

NOT Waterproof
NOT WATERPROOF, Purchased these after my Buagboot II wore out and was severely disappointed to find out they were not waterproof. Feet have been soaked and freezing for several days straight. I don't know if its a defect but pretty useless boots since i got them specifically for snow. Also would agree with others its a little tight fit.

Manufacturing defect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to replace my 10yr old pair. There must be a defect in the boots. On the inside under the insole on the heel there is a thick stitch that sticks out under the insole. Super uncomfortable and annoying. I returned them due to this flaw.

Best boots
I live in Buffalo New York and we get snow. These boots are great they must have made these boots for New York. They are confrontable keep your feet warm and dry and they are stylish. These boots have everything you could ask for.
Nice quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice boot for the sale price. The fit is a bit small, so if you wear thick socks you might want to get a half size bigger. Maybe when they break in a little it will fit better.
Too small. Normally wear a 12 had to return for 13
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too small. Wear a size 12 in every show yet the size 12 was too tight in the toes and the top of the foot. Had to return and go for a size 13. Disappointing.
Great Boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great boot! Order half a size to a full size up from other Non-Columbia boots the insulation makes them a bit tight. Love them though!
Need winter Boots
