Cute pants but cheap material. I hike often and live in an area that has ticks so my pants must be washed after every use. After the third wash the material started to pile. Super disappointing.
I also have an earlier version of the Prana Halle pant, and this updated version is nice in some ways and not in others. The material is lighter weight, which makes them more breathable and comfortable for climbing and hiking in warm weather. The older version feels much more durable though. The fit is looser, which allows for great mobility, though it feels a bit baggy to me. One welcome upgrade: there is a pocket that fits the iPhone. Overall, I’m not disappointed with them but I still reach for my old pair over these.
These pants are very comfortable and the stretchy material helps the pants fit well. I'm 5'2" with a 26" inseam. These pants work for petites, because the cuff at the bottom keeps the hem from hitting the ground. The zip pocket fits a small cell phone, which is awesome. I haven't tested them with hiking or rock climbing yet, but based on how well my other Prana Zion Stretch pants wear, these pants should last a long time.
