Nice jacket, but hood does not fit like in product photo

This is great, stylish lightweight jacket. Perfect for fall/early winter days in the Northeast US. In my experience, the hood does not fit snug like in the product photo though. Not even close. I'm 6 foot tall, I feel I'm a pretty proportioned build. XL large fits great but the hood is not snug around my head, to the point where the hood is unwearable. Constantly shifts down over my eyes. There is no drawstring to adjust. I've worked in product advertising before and If I had to guess, the stylist pinned that hood tighter on that models heads during the photoshoot. I love my North Face gear but that image is misleading.

Short sleeves

True to size but the sleeves are way too short. I don't have long arms. My other TNF products do not have so short sleeves. Ordered a size up and still too short. I wanted to love this jacket, it has all I was looking for. Short sleeves is a deal breaker. Come on TNF! Returning.

It's a Christmas gift, so do not know at this point.

I didn't realize how thin the material is on the sleeves. I will have to wait until after Christmas to see if my husband actually likes it. Also was wondering why there wasn't any type of documented information in the package in case there was a need for an exchange.

Best jacket I own

Bought this jacket for chilly mornings and it's perfect. Wind proof, waterproof and lightweight. It's heavier than a windbreaker but not super heavy. Sleeves and hood fit perfectly just like it's shown in the picture. Must have fall jacket

I would buy this product again

Having already purchased they previous tekware hoodie in pine needle, this one tops it in terms of style and substance with the nylon upper. Everything about this hoodie is excellent in my opinion. Just outstanding!

It seems fine but the sleeves don't feel as thought they would have much warmth.
