I am used to wearing Ghost and thought I would try Adrenaline knowing full well they have more support. The toe box is shallower, initially causing some pressure on my big toe. The tongue over the dorsum of the foot was also very tight. I ended up having to change the lacing pattern 3 times before the shoes were wearable for longer than 10 minutes. The soles felt very hard with no shock absorption whatsoever. I tried them for 3 weeks but they made my feet tired, I was not happy. This season it has been difficult finding a color option that suited my needs. Been spoiled by the lovely Ghost blue ‘camo’ design with black soles. Has to return the shoes for refund.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adrenaline GTS 24 has become my new go-to sneaker for running and everyday use! This is the first time I've worn a sneaker from Brooks and I'm so glad I gave these a try! I have flat feet and normally grab insoles to put in my sneakers, but not with these! These offer the best arch support that I’ve ever experienced! The fit of this sneaker is spot-on perfect and the comfort is impeccable and makes me feel like I’m walking in clouds! Adrenaline gts24 is crafted beautifully, and the fabric holds so incredibly well! I adore the design of the shoe, and it’s easy to pair with most neutrals. There’s nothing I would change about these sneakers. I would buy them again and again!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just recently gotten back into jogging after several years and wanted to invest in a high-quality running shoe. I am mainly running on a treadmill and have found these new Brooks Adrenaline GTSs to be very supportive and comfortable. They are very springy and the fabric is breathable. I love the simple/classic style of the shoe. Initially thought the heel cushion was too firm/tight but now I really like it and it adds stability to my heel. I've had Achilles tendonitis in the past and that hasn't been a problem with these new shoes. Looking forward to logging lots of miles with these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying these shoes! Though it fits slightly snug, it still has a great fit to it and has felt comfortable despite all day wear, including time on the treadmill. The cushioning of them make my feet feel like normal after taking them off, instead of feeling achy or tired. I am a minimalist, so I really appreciate the simple design and colors - it makes it versatile and easy to wear casually like with jeans and when working out in athletic outfits. The only thing I would change is the standard laces - I did buy my own laces (a little longer and a tighter elasticity) as the standard ones that come on them felt lower quality compared to the shoes themselves. Overall, I would purchase again!
Highly disappointed! Something has changed with the newer version. I have always swore by Brooks Adrenaline sneakers for running. I ran two marathons in them but now with the GTS 24 I can barely run 2 miles without discomfort. The first time I ran in them I had a blister and blamed it on my socks. I tried again in socks I have always run in and yet again another blister. The sneaker is even falling apart. Each time I take the sneaker off, the sole comes out with it. Whatever you have done differently, has been an utter disgrace to your sneakers. I can no longer wear this brand.
I will be returning these. They are not as comfortable as the Adrenaline GTS 23. I have a longer foot and tend to size up to a size 12 even though an 11.5 fits me better or else I purchase the men's in a 10.5. I opted for the women's shoe this time in a size 12 and they run small. I am not sure if sizing up to the 13 is going to make the shoe too big as I really only need a half size, and this is not available in the women's shoe. The toe box is much tighter on this shoe as well. I just had them delivered last night and assumed the snugness might have been due to working on my feet all day, but I put them on first thing this morning and they don't feel any better. I have been in them for about 6 hours now, and they just feel worse the longer I am in them.
Coming out of the Adrenaline GTS 23, I thought I'd try the latest Ghost series shoe. Big mistake. It was way too short/tight in the toebox -- even though I went up 1/2 size (which I do for most athletic shoes). So I went back to the Adrenaline GTS 24... and I love it! More room in the toebox than the Adrenaline GTS 23 and more cushioning in the heel; it's a tad less supportive on the sides, but it's negligible. Only annoyance is that the shoelaces are significantly shorter on the 24 series, so I get frustrated putting them on. Hoping they stretch out with wear. Overall, a great and comfortable running/workout shoe... I recommend sizing up 1/2.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the Brooks Adrenaline 24. They are my new go to walking shoes. I have been wearing them for 2 weeks now exercising on my treadmill. I especially like how they fit my foot snug and comfortable just below my ankles. There is enough arch support which help my knees feel secure and steady. The fabric is soft and feels very relaxed around my toes and does not press against my bunions. I would love to see this shoe made in a variety of very bright colors so I can match them with my workout clothes. All in all this is a great shoe for walking and running.
When I first discovered the Adrenaline GTS 22, I was in love! Until that point, no shoes in my life provided me the type of comfort and support I needed. Then the 23's were released and I was equally thrilled. The 24's have been a bit different story. The toe box feels smaller, to the point of rubbing a callous on the end of one of my toes. Sadly, I'm living with it because I'm on my feet all night and they enjoy the support. They just don't like the callous. On another note, some other vibrant color choices would be greatly appreciated. There's always so many bland options in the lineup. My usage is a new pair about every three months.
I bought these shoes for daily, casual wear. I bought the black and white. They are very comfortable and supportive and they look cute if you are going for a sporty, casual look. My main quibble is that they are shorter (meaning length from toe to heel) than other Brooks models, and the toe box is a little tighter. I have other pairs of Brooks in the same size (9) and with this model I feel my toes at the front of the shoe and slightly squished. It however was not a dealbreaker for me and I kept them for the looks and support. A note to Brooks: I like to wear your shoes for more casual daily purposes. Please provide more neutral colors in all styles.
