The sizing chart for this jacket is very wrong.

I'm not sure if I got a defective item or not, but if not, then the sizing chart associated with this type of clothing is nowhere near accurate (based on actual measurements). This is much, much larger than the sizing chart indicates. I am at the high end of their chest and sleeve length in the chart (size large), and I am SWIMMING in this item. Even worse, I have to pay to return it, even though their sizing chart is inaccurate!! Next time I'll stick with Amazon or any number of other online vendors, where I don't have to pay to return something based on an inaccurate sizing chart.

Exceeded expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took these for a March trip to rural Alaska where I was working outdoors in temps ranging from -20 to +30, often in wind and snow. This jacket exceeded my expectations. In higher temps, it worked well on its own; in subzero temps, it worked great as an outerlayer over a down puffy. It was very windproof for its pricepoint, and it did well in all kinds of snow conditions.

Winter jacket fit perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a gift for my husband and he loves it. It's a lightweight, warm winter jacket. He has been using it this winter and has no complains about it.

Full of Expectation, but feeble nylon zip keeps separating.

I bought my male Size Large, Tipton Peak Ii Omni on 30th December 2022 and though a great jacket, it's downfall was the Zip. For a product at such a price point, one would think there would be a more robust Zip. The Zip has now split apart, on a number of occasion, even when simply bending over. Even with the Velcro tabs closed. It is so disappointing. I've looked fwd to having a Colombia Jacket for some years, for the cross country hiking I do, with my dog. Hope Colombia can do something, please.

The performance of this jacket is disappointing!

This jacket does have some nice features like the styling, pockets and hood. After wearing it in a mild northern Michigan winter I have become very disappointed with its performance. It is not a very warm jacket and the fabric doesn't stop even a mild wind from chilling you. Also, the zipper and zipper pulls are very cheap. Had I not purchased this jacket in October as an early Christmas present, I would certainly be returning it now.
