No one likes doing the dishes, especially on the road or camping where it’s generally made a little more difficult (and somehow ALWAYS my job!). But OXO has made a pretty nice system here to make it as easy as possible. It’s basically like your own portable kitchen sink. And even though it’s a simple design, it’s really well thought out. The big outer wash bin is for your soapy water (you really on need like an inch of water or so, plus it has a drain with a screen to catch food scraps when you’re done). The inner bin is for rinsing, which means it stays clean and you can store your dishes and cookware in there for traveling. Then the top is obviously the drying rack, and the lid to keep it all together. The utensil cup/holder also snaps into the drying rack in two positions, too (upright for drying and down for stowing). The bin itself was a little bigger than I first expected, but after using it a few times, it quickly makes sense because the inner rinse bin needs to be deep enough for a plate. But even still, being able to store and transport your kitchen stuff inside means it’s always making itself useful. Plus, whether you’re in an RV or car camping, it’s nice because you can bring the bin (and the major food smells) to a spigot. And if you have a group of campers making dirty dishes, that’s a huge upgrade over doing dishes in a campground bathroom sink (which you’re not supposed to do anyway).

Latches are a joke, opens while traveling lightly.

At first it was nice, but its really not for camping, more for RV/glamping, long term camps maybe. Main issues are the latches they barely hold it all together, you cannot put anywhere it will get bumped because the the latches will pop open and the whole kit will fall apart. Collapsible bucket, bin, and mesh bags work just and well and take up little room.

Camp Kitchen Nesting Awesomeness

The OXO Outdoor Wash, Dry and Stow System has proven to be one of those cherished camping tools that both provides fantastic function and requires little space. The OXO system is extremely well-built of molded plastics and silicone. It's light, but also sturdy. With the OXO in your vehicle or trailer, you have a system that rapidly becomes ready to handle the dishes from that delicious camp meal and then nests back together just as fast when finished. While easily capable of containing campware for 2 when using backpacking-type items - the OXO system can be nested in a couple of ways such that slightly larger (more traditional type of plates, bowls, cups and mugs) items can be safely stored and transported all inside the system - simply flip one of the top two trays in the system upside down to gain extra height. Time will tell if the silicone water stopper will hold up to repeated uses, but it is relatively thick for its purpose. I would have liked a dedicated hook or similar for a dish towel, but you can adapt the fold-down locking handles into one in a pinch. All-in-all - a great little system that will now always have a place in the teardrop galley or the vehicle hatch.

Versatile Dish Station

I really like this product. I love the multiple bins for washing rinsing and drying. I like they make lid reversible, so you could use it for storage or collapse it to minimize space. Not hundred percent on what the small plastic detachable part in the dying tray is for. Could be for soap but not right shape. I think it's for storage of utensils, so they don't clang around or damage other items.

Damaged

Looks like an awesome dish-washing system. I hate making several trips to the hand pump at campgrounds to wash and rinse dishes, so this system looked really promising. I like how it nests together. The screen over the wash bin drain is a neat addition, as is the drying bin; however, the drying bin only has one drain hole, and since the drying bin is flat and not slightly slanted, not sure how water actually drains out of the bin. The only reason I gave the product four stars and not five is not related directly to the product. I gave it four stars because I had to exchange the product because it was damaged. I got it home and discovered the exterior of the wash bin was scuffed up and looked like someone sliced it with a knife. While it's only cosmetic and doesn't impact the usability, the product, at $60, isn't cheap, and I expected it to be in new condition when I bought it.

A good, portable wash basin system

I tested this wash system on a Scout campout. Love how it packs up neatly and in a small space, is a good size for 3-5 people, holds the clean dishes fairly securely, and is pretty sturdy. Is good for car camping or RVing. I received this product for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review.

I love this wash/dry system. It has made camp cleanup and dishes a breeze. I love that I can use it to store and transport stuff too! Definitely a good investment for car camping.

Works well

Expensive and bulky. But game changer for camping. Very durable and easy to wash dishes when camping. Nice to have a place to put clean dishes. I am on the road a lot either in a small trailer or tent camping and works well for both. Each component nestle inside each other and easy to transport.

Can’t be used for proper 3 pot washing/rinsing/sanitizing

With only two basins, this is useless for correct camping sanitation. I would have to buy a third bin in order to properly clean my dishes. Why would you sell this without the ability to comply with sanitary standards?
