Look. I love these pants. Why is my zip pocket sewn half shut? If I put something in it, it get sucked into the bottom and I can’t get it out without removing my pants. And I can’t rip the stitches out without damaging the mesh of the pocket
I have tons of hiking pants. I'm a backpacker so weight is an issue and these pants are my go to and super light, weighing in at just barely over 4oz. They keep me dry in light rain and when I'm hiking in the misty clouds. They fit perfect. I'm 5'6" and the small regular and long both fit great. They are durable and super comfee. There is enough room to layer a base layer under them comfortably on super cold days, or layer rain pants over them when the sky falls out. They are even comfortable enough to sleep in on trail. They wick sweat away great and I can wear them day after day with no orders. These hiking pants have great useable pockets as well. They roll up and pack teeny tiny. Super soft too. You can also cinch the draw cord around your ankles to keep moisture out or open the ankles up for wearing boots. Very versitile pants. What's not to love. Great for any outdoor adventure. Love love these pants. Thank you MH! I definitely recommend these pants. I have 2 pairs of them plus 2 pairs of the Dynema pull on shorts which are amazing too. I also wear them off trail too. Very cute and flattering fit.
This is the 2nd pair of these pants I purchased. I went a size down since the other ones are a tad baggy. When I tried them on the first time, it sounded like the top seam stretched to the breaking point. (It was not a struggle to get them on, just running my thumbs around the waist to straighten it out was around to break the seam...) They still fit perfectly...just a little loose at the waist! Maybe I got a pair made a while ago and the stretchy thread wasn't stretchy anymore? Or it never was... Either way, I love the pants. But maybe a reinforced waistband or a sturdier elastic would help. They wash and wear great and are my favorite travel pants.
Big fan of the old style Dynama/2. What are you thinking? Do you actually ask women what they want? None of us want a hand pocket that will not securely hold a couple of things. The old model just made the cut and now you have taken that away! Plus the waistband isn’t as durable or comfortable, plus the legs don’t have the reinforcement seem, plus only one back pocket (two before). Really? Can’t believe I’m going to have to return these. Purchased online so couldn’t try on. Assumed that they would be the same pants as before.
Had to get large cuz I’ve got hips, but my waist is smaller. There’s no way to cinch the waistband. Even if my body was different I’d still be cautious of the pants hanging too low due to stretching during hard day of incline. Also, I agree with others about pockets, the side pockets are useless and stick out. Having anything in the thigh pocket as heavy as a phone would probably pull the pants down. What I do like is the hip fit and flow of the legs. Very comfy for those with leg muscles.
These are my new favorite pants that I wear for everyday and all my hikes. They are stretchy in all the right places. There is no zipper or waist band, and that is great for backpacking because the waist band fits more comfortable. The material is light, awesome for warm weather hikes and the material dries quickly too. I like to cinch up the bottom and make them like capris. Last, Im 4"11 with a natural 29" waist and the medium short is perfect! Im contemplating purchasing more pairs.
I absolutely LOVE the original Dynama pant! I bought a pair of the Dynama 2 thinking they can't be that different... The material and general fit are still great but there's a few things that just didn't need changing. 1. The front pockets! What the heck is supposed to go in them and stay put?? They were totally functional before, and honestly the flared pocket is not very flattering. 2. The waist elastic band. The elastic part seems more narrow and digs in to your hips/ stomach now. Plus it is not as stretchy as it was. The original was the perfect balance of stretchy but not loose. When I found out the original was done, I bought every pair I could find. These pants are my everyday, active, work pants and haven't found a better option. So yes I would still recommend them, but not quite as enthusiastically.
I own two Dynama/2 Ankle ankle pants and absolutely love them. I was excited to order these pants because I wanted a longer pant for travel and hiking. I ordered the exact same size (small) as my ankle pants and when I tried them on I couldn’t even get them over my hips! I noticed that they are made in a different country than the ankle pant so somehow the cut has been changed. I was so disappointed and had to return them.
I love these pants so much. They are a great weight, fit so well and look nice too. I have not washed them yet so I can't comment on their durability from washing as others have mentioned. I did notice that I have a small snag from a tree branch brushing against them which was a bummer, so I wouldn't call them hearty pants. But I still adore them and want to buy more colors.
I’ve been wearing these pants for years and I’m really disappointed that you decided to change the design. I find the side pocket bulky and the pull string on the bottom trim unattractive. Also the waistband is not as comfortable as it used to be. Why you would want to change such an amazing pant? I returned my purchase to the store So disappointed
