Compatible with top tube bolt bosses, the Revelate Designs Mag-Tank Bolt-On top tube bag features a magnetic buckle that allows easy access to snacks and gadgets while preventing accidental openings.
- Magnetic buckle with mechanical engagement ensures the bag won't accidentally open, even when your bike is upside down
- One-handed operation—simply pull the cord loop outward for full top access; closing is a breeze with a simple flick of the flap
- Closure is secure, but there is the possibility that small objects can come out of the bag from rough trails or laying the bike on its side
- TPU liner is built from the same material as hydration bladders; liner is easily detachable for post-ride cleaning—no more sticky food messes after your long rides
- Bag is designed to shed rain and spray; due to the large panel opening, it is not a fully sealed or waterproof bag
- 2 sets of mounting holes on bag bottom to allow bolt-on attachment to top tube
- First set of mounting holes spaced at 76 mm (+/- 2 mm) from the front of the bag
- Second set of mounting holes spaced at 100 mm (+/- 2 mm) from the front of the bag
- Distance between mounting holes is 64 mm (standard water bottle cage spacing)
- Padded bag bottom conceals mounting bolts; padding secures in place with hook-and-loop fasteners

Favorite Toptube Bag
Ive had this model bag on just about every bike I've had, it's that solid of a bag. If you don't have the elastic strap adjusted properly and the magnet seated as it should be, you might end up spilling your snacks all over NYC.
massively disappointing
i had ridden about 8 miles before getting to some 'speed bumps' on the West Side bike path in NYC. the bag flapped open immediately and sent snacks flying. i resealed the closure and doubel checked that the magnet was engaged. it flapped open twice more in the next 12 miles, and threw more snacks out a few miles into OCA. from watching some of the reputable youtube channels, i was under the impression that Revelate made quality goods. this is not one of them.
I agree with Massively Disappointed
The weight of whatever is in your bag will fly up and force open the mag lack when you hit bumps. This is a major oversight in testing. A complete waste of money. Garbage!
great bag
Buying my second bag for another gravel bike. Have stuffed this bag on 50+ mile rides on rough gravel and single track and have never had it open on me. Opening and closing it is literally a one handed operation. Great bag. I will be putting it on every bike I get.
Opens too easily
Made well with the one exception being that it opens way too easily. Revelate typically makes good stuff but this bag just isn’t it
I like mine!
I like mine! Bolted on top tube of Salsa Warbird. Perfect location. Magnetic snap is reliable for quick access. Might be nice if they added a hard-snap buckle for security between rides. Have noticed that if riding really bumpy roads... heavy tools in bag bounce a lot on carbon top tube... therefore, put something soft on bottom.
Ineffective lid
The lid and closer is ineffective. Good for a power bar but nothing valuable
