Cheap and poorly designed
The lid is attached with a very janky little piece of metal that is most likely going to come off, if you tight the metal piece then the lid won't close all the way. The percolator parts seem very cheap and don't fit snuggly inside so it knocks around and doesn't stay put. This is far below the quality I would expect from a product sold at REI. It's worth it to spend the extra $10 on a nicer one.
