Fit is not the same
I have been wearing Bali style Keen sandals since 2006. Wear these daily, year round; and find this style extremely comfortable. Keen has not had the Bali style available for several years and I was glad to see this style finally back in inventory, so I ordered 4 pair. Same size as I have worn for 18 years. But the newest inventory is not the same size. I compared an old pair of Bali sandals with the new pair; the new ones are wider and longer. These fit loosely on my feet. I am very disappointed. Wish I had ordered a full size smaller. Very glad to see Bali being sold again but people need to be aware that the sizing is different from past stock.
Far too large, but no half-sizes
I've been waiting a decade for a replacement of my ancient first generation Bali sandals. So I was really excited to see the return of the Bali. I typically wear a women's size 8.5 wide running shoe (or men's 7). I had read that these Balis run large, so ordered the 8. They fit like a size 9...maybe 9 wide. I then ordered the 7, hoping that they wouldn't fit too far in the opposite direction. They are, unfortunately, a half size too small. I'll be returning both pair. And sadly ending up without replacements for my beloved old slides. I expect that a mythical 7.5 would have fit me perfectly. Or a more accurately sized 8.
My all-time favorite sandal
Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing back the Bali sandal! I had worn this sandal for years until Keen discontinued the style, and was still hanging onto a 9-year-old pair that was long overdue for replacement. After writing to the company a few times, I was very pleased that someone finally listened to my request and brought back this style. It is comfortable, cute and the only shoe I've found that provides toe protection while still maintaining the feel of a sandal. They also have much better arch support than most sandals I've found. I've received many compliments on them over the years, and now I can recommend them to someone, knowing they'll actually be able to buy them.

I am so beyond happy to have these flip flops again! I had a couple pairs years ago that wore out over time. When I needed to replace them, they were discontinued, and I was devastated. I have suffered much since then with mediocre summer footwear. (The men’s sizes don’t run small enough for my feet) The world is beautiful again! Everything is the same, with the exception of the thong, which is thinner and more comfortable than the older version. I really hope with all my heart that when it’s time to replace these, that I will still be able to find a new pair. Thank you Keen for this!!!
Bali is back :)
My favorite shoe ever and #1 go-to sandal in summer! I bought my first pair when we took our son to Hawaii in 2006 (photo) ... 18 years later I'm still wearing them!! Thank you for bringing the Bali back - I agree with the other reviews ... please add more color options.
They're BACK!
I am so happy that this style is back in the sandal lineup! I've just received my 5th pair, after going without replacing my old pair for several years. The foot bed is supportive and comfortable. I can be on my feet all day, walking, sightseeing, shopping and beach combing. They look great with jeans, cut-offs, capris, casual dresses - everything that is part of my regular wardrobe. I'm hopeful that more colors will be available. I've loved the purple and the green options. I often take a 10.5, regular width, shoe, but the 10 in this style has fit perfectly for over 15 years.
Best flip flop ever!
When I first got them, I was a little, unsure of the arch support. First impressions were that it was a bit awkward. After wearing, and walking in these for miles, I can’t go back to a flip-flop without arch support! Best flip-flop ever!
Yippee, Bali sandals are back!
I’ve worn Bali sandals for my everyday wear for years. I’ve had them in probably every color. I wear them on the beach, in my kayak, in the park, and around the pool. They give me the arch support and the toe protection I need in my various activities. I like the easy on, easy off feature. I was so saddened when they were discontinued. I scrambled to find any remaining in stock, but to no avail. I was delighted when I saw they were just brought back in stock.I ordered two pair immediately. I’m going to have a good summer in my Balis.
Oh Happy Day
Seeing the Bali is back, is the best news ever!!! I absolutely went into withdrawal when Bali was not available. I first came upon the Bali in 2006 on a trip to the Outer Banks. After that I was hooked. I bought a lot over the years, as I loved all the colors and patterns. I even got my best friend hooked a few years ago. I am lucky as I had quite a stash, but now I am ecstatic to know they are once again available. Please do the blueberry blue with red trim, as this was my all time fav, not to mention 1st pair so many years ago.
Favorite sandal of all time
I have a pair of Bali sandals that are 10+ years old. I have kept them because Keen stopped making this style. On a whim I checked their website for new sandals and saw the Bali was back!! I purchased the black and alloy sandals without hesitation! When the light blue pair become available I will purchase those too! These are the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned! I have worn them all day without fatigue or blisters and the arch support is awesome! Thank you Keen for bringing this style back! It was the best day ever!
