Big Agnes means quality in materials and design

Best camp chair in terms of weight, size, quality, durability and packed size. I purchased 2 of these for car camping and they are the best option available. They can hold quite a bit of weight because my son is 6’5” and 225lbs and he didn’t break it. I’ve got a lot of camp chairs that are more expensive but they are going to Goodwill because they don’t compare to these

Seat fabric doesn't reach

I can't stretch the seat fabric to reach the 2nd insert post. I am 81 years old, but my fifty+ daughter and Son-in-law told me they still have trouble getting the seat to the post as well.

A little front country, a little backcountry

The Big Agnes Big Six is a bit of stretch for long backpacking trips, but could be viable, depending on pack size. I mainly use it for motorcycle camping at state/provincial parks, but also rec sites (BLM). After hours or days on a motorcycle, it's nice to have a proper chair to kick back in, and I find the the ChairOne and other short chairs make me feel like I'm on a bean bag chair. They're too low, and I find myself pulling my neck up- not so with the Big Six. If you're a bigger dude, this is the chair you've been looking for. It's very sturdy and well-built- much more confidence inspiring than the Helinox Sunset, which I also own. I with BA would make a sand attachment, as the legs do sink.

Excellent camp chair!

This is an excellent camp chair. It packs down pretty small for a chair of this size. It's a lot of chair. The angle and placement of the head rest is perfect. I took it on a trip to the Black Hills a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I personally wouldn't use it as a backpacking chair but those who don't mind the weight and size would have the sweetest chair in the backcountry if they chose to pack it along. For me, it's the perfect car camping chair and I look forward to spending the camping season around the fire with this baby!

Great chair for the price

Great chair small package easy setup, it would be nice to have armrests or a cup holder. Packs down nice and small, this is the best feature. This takes a little more time to set up, and a little bit of a learning curve to set it up. Great value chair feels sturdy when sitting in it, I’m a big guy and feel safe sitting in this chair. I would recommend, this chair to others.

Sturdy, light and comfortable

Great chair, very comfortable and seems to hold the weight it's rated for which is 300 lbs. I don't break it down very often, because I like to sit in it so much. Also it's a little more complicated to put together than the stool version, but that is of course, to be expected. I'm just very lazy, lol. Being light means taking it everywhere is no big deal. This always impresses people. I love having this chair, I use it all the time and I get lots of compliments. The feet did come off in soft earth with a heavy sitter but I luckily noticed and was able to find them again. I'm far more likely to carry this chair into my front or backyard from my house. It's just like grabbing a book. Again, I do keep it together mostly but if I needed to it folds down compact. Not as compact as I'd imagined, but still very small for how sturdy it is.

Do not buy

I would give this zero stars if that was an option. Assembling the legs & back was easy, attaching the fabric was impossible. If I need to struggle for 3+ minutes to get a chair half-assembled, I don't want it. I could have put more brute-force into it, but I figured I might damage it that way and then it'd be worthless to return. I regret purchases here and there, but this is the first one that has truly angered me. It doesn't deserve to be returned for some other poor schmuck to be cursed by it, but I can't in good conscience donate it or sell it, and I want my money back.

Great Chair!

This a great chair! Easy to assemble, lightweight, comfortable. (It's currently sitting in my living room, and I sit in it regularly.) It's rather tall, so it wouldn't work well at concerts, but for any other situation, it's great. I would definitely recommend it.
