Sizing Notes

All Scarpa non-plastic footwear uses European sizing.

• 1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches

• 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches

• The 30 Euro sizes above cover the same size range as 24 US sizes.

• More Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use.

Rock Shoes: Scarpa recommends you downsize 1/2 to 2 full sizes from street shoe size, though downsizing depends on shoe model, intended use and personal preference.

Mountaineering: Scarpa recommends you upsize 1/2 size or more depending on desired fit. Scarpa plastic mountaineering boots are based on the UK sizing scale.

Ski Boots: All Scarpa ski bootsare measured in Mondo sizing. Highlighted (or not) sizes share the same shell size; the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

Awesome beginner /intermediate shoe!

Climbed pretty exclusively indoor bouldering with these, and they were my first pair of shoes…great all rounder, I love the toe cap, it is surprisingly sensitive and easy to work with, however the heel can be slippery on flatter, no incut heel hooks…that being said even with the soft rubber these lasted me 7 months of climbing 2-4 times a week consistently at around 2 hours a session, and they have gotten me to consistent v3 flashes, consistent v4s, and a few v5s. I haven’t tried them on anything harder, but personally I haven’t had that much trouble with the edging on small holds despite the soft rubber. After 7 months the toes on my pair are damaged and in need of a resole but still usable, and the velcro definitely has seen better days, but I have fixed it mostly with duck tape and they are still working fine. They were pretty comfortable for me, I had pain/rubbing on my toes but only after 2+ hours climbing, and it went away as soon as I readjusted my shoes. They definitely get softer but I think they don’t stretch too much like I have heard others have. These are great if you have narrower feet and can’t get anything else to keep your arch/heel from separating, as these were basically the only shoe that wasn’t extremely advanced that fit my feet well! I probably only saw discomfort in my toes because I sized down to fit my heel…I am a women’s 9-9.5 street shoe and I got the size 39.

Goldilocks Shoe

The perfect intermediate shoe! I was looking for an upgrade but wasn't on board for something super aggressive. This checked all the boxes. I'm a true 8 1/2 and squeezed into the 39 1/2 but ended up returning for the 40 which is snug but doesn't feel like my toes are getting lopped off every time I put pressure on them. Don't let the lack of reviews deter you, this shoe is amazing.

Solid Comfort and Performance!

Been climbing in these for 6 months now (mostly sport and top rope) and have been very happy with them! I was looking for something slightly more aggressive than the neutral shoes I’ve had in the past, but still comfortable enough to be worn for the duration of multi-hour gym sessions. I was worried about a couple pressure points at first, but after a handful of sessions they were broken in and now fit great!

Excellent intermediate shoe!

I have feet that are more on the narrow side with long toes. My right foot is “Greek” (longer middle toe than big toe) and my left is “Roman” (first two toes the same length), and these shoes have been a dream. I’m a street 9 (40), but got 40.5.
