Love the cropped length. Warm and cozy.

As a petite and short-waisted person, I love the cropped length. It hits me at the top of my pelvic bones; with high waited leggings the coverage is perfect. The shirt is light weight, but still warm enough for chilly temperatures. When it’s cold and windy (20s and below) I pair it with a vest. I love the thumb holes and watch window. I find tucking the edges of the window around the watch face help it stay in place during my runs. I have not experienced any discomfort or chafing; I’ve worn the shirt on both shorter and longer runs. (I’m training for my next half marathon.) It has worked its way to the top of my running drawer rotation.

Warm but too short

I bought this for the watch holes and it is so helpful to not have to fight sleeves while trying to look at my watch. The top feels thin, but still keeps you warm. The turtleneck adds warmth without out the bulk of a hood. The only thing I dislike about the top is the length. If I raise my arms, the bottom hem goes up to my boobs, leaving my entire stomach exposed. The only reason I kept it is because I'm either wearing a vest or jacket over it and that keeps it from riding up some. I know cropped/short length tops are the current style, but style goes out the window when dressing for cold/snowy runs.

Not what I thought from picture

My fault for not reading what this too was made of, I thought it was going to be more of a thermal sweat shirt material but it’s more nylon feel. I typically wear XS-S and prefer a fitted fit and ordered small. It’s small but more so in length, it’s bordering on a crop top. When I’m cold I don’t want my stomach exposed. . The pocket is also tiny, only a credit card would fit. Not happy with my purchase. I’m 34C, 5’7 and 123 lbs.

Best Winter Running Layer

Obsessed with this warm weather running layer. I just ordered another. I’ve been an ultrarunner for a few years and I’ve found that other pullovers don’t stay as warm and dry on super long runs like this one does. Just took this on a spin in negative 5 degrees Fahrenheit and wasn’t cold!! Recommended to all my friends- bravo Brooks!

My favorite

My absolute favorite winter running top. It’s so warm. I only wear a sports bra under it and I add a neck gaiter to keep my neck/face warm. But this shirt keeps me so warm in cold winter. I have 2 of these (purple and cream). Wish I could also have the red. I hope Brooks comes out with more colors of these next winter.

It’s comfortable and the tops half fits well. But the overall length is shorter than normal shirts. It shows my stomach unless I’m wearing high rise pants/shorts. Not great to show skin in the cold weather!

Awesome for Cold Running

I don’t normally leave reviews but this fleece is stellar. Not too tight or too loose; the length is perfect and doesn’t pop up or slide around. I didn’t realize there are peep holes to see your watch until I put it on. That feature is fantastic for running in the cold. The material is fleece but is tiny-striped with a breathable material alternating with the fleece making it more breathable. I would love to see it in a quarter zip so I can unzip halfway through the run for neck sweat -maybe there is one? Really great winter shirt and I plan to get more for next year.

Warm!

Love this top’ actually is pretty warm, but have to pair with something if it’s actually cold outside since it’s a crop & loose at the bottom. Love the watch hole!

Good Base Layer

I’ve used this daily for my cold morning winter runs here in Ohio. Paired with the shield jacket, this has kept me amazingly warm! I use this as my base layer. I enjoy the thumb holes as well as the hole for my watch. I do find that when I use the hole for my watch that my watch does not sit as tight to my wrist so it messes with the heart rate monitoring function on the watch. I also wish the shirt itself was a little longer as I like to tuck it into my leggings to hold in the warmth. Overall, I really enjoy this shirt and use it daily in the winter months.

**CROPPED** thermal long sleeve

I really wanted to love this item. It was so soft and comfortable I was excited to give it the Maine winter test. Unfortunately, this item is super short in the torso area (think cropped sweatshirt length), which is not super functional for an item that is supposed to be thermal. In order to make this work I would have had to wear another layer under that I could tuck into my pants to prevent the wind from blowing into my shirt. Even with my highest waisted leggings there was no way to prevent wind from blowing into the wide bottom, and the shirt itself was too short to tuck in as well. Overall, would not recommend this product to be used for it's intended purposes. Could be cute as a cover up or athleisure but not to be used functionally for cold weather sports.
