[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag is well suited for the cold. I hopped into the day I got it to see what it was like. In 40-degree temperature, I started to sweat in under two minutes. It was incredible how much heat it retains. I tried it at night on 20-degree temperature and was plenty warm. The mummy shape, chest baffle and cinched opening work together to make an efficient heat capturing capsule. I got in the bag and stretched a tape measure from the foot well to the head area and it seems like an tall 80-inch person could fit inside there (I stretched the tape measure nearly 7 feet.) The big baby sleeping bag has many features you would like. It zippers from both ends with pulls on both sides; this is helpful to cut the retained heat when the weather is above zero. There is a, insulated flap behind the zipper to keep a cold spot from forming. The face opening has a Velcro cover to help keep it from unzippering on its own. The foot well has a fleece lining which is nice if you sleep barefooted, but I wear socks. There is a small pocket on the inside ideal for holding a cellphone or other small, important item within the sleeping bag. It comes with a compact bag but the fit is extremely tight. Even though it is constructed with light weight polyester material, it is fairly dense because of the temperature rating. You can wash it in a front-loading washer or by hand. It must be fully dry before you repack it. To help with drying, it has two loops at the footwell to hang the bag from. This bag is great at retaining your heat in cool weather. **Not a summer time sleeping bag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a tendency to throw my neck or back out fairly regularly. When I do, I end up sleeping on the floor until I feel better. I've been using this Big Bay Sleeping bag lately and I can't say enough good things about it. It is spacious and soft and adds just enough cushion to where I sometimes forget that I am actually sleeping on the floor. I'm so happy I found this product. Gone are the days of just throwing a blanket down and trying to rest. It is durable, comfortable, machine washable. It zips up tight and you can still turn on your side or onto your stomach without having to unzip to make room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Big Bay Mummy sleeping bags so much that the littles and I turned the heat down and had an indoor camping trip in the living room! We are more excited for our actual camping trip now, and didn't think we could look forward to it more, but we do with these sleeping bags! Super warm, great padding, and the zipper unzips from top and bottom so you can give your feet some air too. Best camping purchase yet! The whole family loves these sleeping bags.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the softest, coziest sleeping bag I’ve ever had. You do zip yourself up in it just like s mummy. It’s got very nice little details too. Like the wind guard that goes up around your neck to keep the chill from getting in. Nice, built-in pillow. It’s kind of hard to get it rolled back up and put back into its bag. I had to get my husband to do it. I love this bag though and it’s so nice, you’ll feel like you’re ‘glamping’.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping back was of a denser material than I was expecting (its not like a puffer coat that packs really tightly) but it is exceptionally warm. It seems quite durable and the material is of high quality. A few words of caution: Larger people may not fit well; my husband found it to be a tight fit. It was also exceptionally difficult to put back into the storage bag, even for a sleeping bag (a notoriously difficult task.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can not wait to go camping with the sleeping bag. It is so warm and cozy. I love snuggling up with this bag at night. I also can be a warm sleeper, so I like that it has a J zipper so I can unzip my feet area during warmer nights. This sleeping bag works just as well as other more expensive brands that I have used in the past. I really like this one and will be buying more of them for the rest of my family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is big! In a good way! Coleman's Big Bay Sleeping Bag is mummy shaped with a fleece lined foot box to add to the already great heat retention. The zipper, instead of going straight down the side swoops around. I believe it's called a j-zipper. The top comes over the head and has extra cushion for the neck to keep it even warmer. It's great for really cold nights out camping or hunting or whatever you plan to use it for. My only issue was that I had a really hard time getting it back into the bag it came in. That's a minor problem though that can be fixed by rolling it tighter or (in my case) shoving it back in until it gives up. We had several people of different sizes try it out and everyone found it comfortable (it feels really padded and not at all thin) and everyone enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend keeping a few of these with your camping gear to be used over and over as the quality will certainly last for years. Definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great sleeping bag for camping or just because. It’s very cozy, and is easy to get in and out of. It’s insulated, and has heat retention to 20 degrees Fahrenheit . It also comfortable, and I feels really good inside. Overall, it’s gets the job done and good quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice big and roomy sleeping bag. Have not gotten a chance to try on a super super cold night yet, but on the nights I have, been awesome. Lots of room, just a great addition to our camping inventory for staying warm on our trips.
