I bought these shoes form my local running shoe store to replace my daily trainers. Must say that I love the feel underfoot. I have over a 100kms in 3 weeks and after the initial break in which took around 50kms, the midsole came to life! The midsole had a firmer feel, isn’t too mushy or soft and is very responsive. It’s a perfect shoe for someone looking for a firmer pair of shoes to run their daily miles. One thing to note is that the rocker on the shoe promotes faster runs and all in comfort. I’ve done run multiple runs from slow paces to 10k paces, and I must say the sweet spot is somewhere at the half marathon to a marathon pace. I’d definitely buy another pair as I like my shoes to bit on the firmer and bouncier end.
I like the Speed 4’s. They are pretty light and responsive. They have good tread that allows for road, dirt, and trail running. I work at a law enforcement police academy and they are the go to shoes for the tactical staff. They transition well between running on road and trail and during calisthenic exercises. I wear these during weight training, HIIT workouts, and track work. I’ve had the 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s. The 2’s are my favorite, and I definitely like the more narrow toe box than the 3’s. Shoes hold up well and are my daily shoe for the diverse workouts. I recommend these shoes to the staff and students.
I’m your average runner nothing special. 6.4 190 pounds. I have used these or a version of them for 3 marathons and about 5 half marathons. They have always fit well and held up exceptionally. Price is fair as well for a nice quality running shoe. I also love the small company vibe. I am up little upset about a small seem that has already come undone on my endorphin speed 4s down where the tongue meets the top of the shoe. I don’t think it will hurt anything it just hurts to spend 180 and it already be ripped after 4 runs. I’ll keep buying these as long as run. Do wish they would make size 14 in the elite distance shoe as well! Thank you all
Thanks for sharing your experience Tyler!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m an elementary school physical education teacher so I’m on the move all day every day. I typically go through a pair of shoes each semester before the support has been worn down. These feel amazing like I’m walking/running on clouds. My only concern is long term hold up as the toe area of the shoe is actually kind of like a mesh - you can see the dark color socks I’m wearing in the picture through the shoes. I take care of my shoes but I also work hard and I could see something snagging a hole in there. Time will tell. These are great and I wish the purple was blue. Not into the current color schemes.
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
It’s very comfortable and light but I am not sure if it is worth the price. The bottom of the shoes is already wearing off and I barely had it for a month. Very disappointing!
They are very light in weight. After about 100 miles of wear the outer sole started to wear and flake off. I’m very disappointed in these. I’ve already replaced them.
I was excited to buy a pair of Speed 4s. My expectations were high, after owning 7+ pairs of Speed 3s. In my opinion, the Speed 3s are superior to the Speed 4s. The Speed 4s simply feel stiffer on the forefoot and less responsive as compared to the Speed 3's plush and responsive ride. I will use the Speed 4s for short runs only. I would would be very interested to know what the goal was by Saucony with this change. Granted the Speed 4 colorways and uppers look 100% better than the Speed 3s but that is the only improvement. Nice shoe to wear to the grocery store.

I have this shoes for almost a month and are very easy to use on the day to day training, either a short or long runs.
Thanks for sharing your feedback Juan!
Happy with Endorphin speed 4, I use it for my Tempo/Speed work outs. I'm very satisfied with the energy return.
If you’re expecting the new Endorphin Speed model to be like the previous ones, you’ll be disappointed. I’ve run thousands of miles in earlier versions without any issues. However, this new model has caused hamstring, calf, and foot pain that I never experienced before. I know the shoe is the culprit because when I switch back to other models (Endorphin Pros, Hokas, Vaporflys, etc.), the pain disappears. I’ve tried to push through it, but I risk injury if I continue using these shoes. It’s super disappointing, especially considering the price. I’m not sure what changes were made to this model, but I would buy the Endorphin Speed 3 if it were available.
