This raincoat is SO beautiful. I got the orange-ish one and it’s like the color of sandstone and so lightweight. I like my coats oversized, I’m normally a 2x in tops so I got the biggest size and it fits absolutely perfect and I still have room to move around. So happy with this!
I got this for a trip. I haven't worn it out yet, but have tried it on indoors and it is super comfortable. I am 5'3 and 120 lbs. I usually take a 6 or 8 due to big shoulders and I got a small. The medium was too large - sleeves were too long and the body was too long, too .
I got this for utilitarian reasons but pleasantly surprised it is actually so cute. runs a tad larger but I wouldn’t size down, the oversized fit is cute and can fit a sweater or puffy vest underneath. got a M.
The fit and style of this jacket is amazing. I love it! The only thing I wish was different was the pockets. They are awkward to get stuff in and out of with one hand. Cargo pockets would have been better.
A great waterproof coat with a relaxed fit that allows sweaters underneath. Finally a coat with roomy shoulders and the ability to zip.it up easily. It it had pit zips it would.be perfect.
Overall I like this jacket a lot. It’s cute and the blue color is pretty and unique. It’s comfy and oversized. But the hood on this was odd to me. It just felt kind of strangely small. It should be a little larger and it’s needs a small brim or something to keep the rain off your face. It almost feels like it pulls the jacket up off my shoulders a little bit when I put the hood on. It’s not terrible. It’s still very usable, but it’s just a little bit off. I feel like a hood is a key part of a rain jacket so this was disappointing.
I wanted to love this jacket, but it ran way too big! I normally wear a S/M in jackets, but an XS was even too big. :( Besides that, the quality of it is what you can expect for a Patagonia jacket. I ended up going with the Torrentshell, and the major pro to that one is the underarm zips.
Buy at least 1 size DOWN. Also, this is NOT the same color I rec'd (thankfully). Go to Patagonia site for more accurate color which is a dusky olive, not brushed sage.
