Did not work

I bought this to use on the high camps at Aconcagua. The first time I tried to use it at 16,400 feet it did not work. I spent an hour trying to get it to work in below freezing conditions with high wind, I even took it apart, nothing worked. I decided to try the normal one (red ring) it worked perfectly. I do not know why the artic one would not work in artic conditions. If I did not have the normal pump my expedition would have ended there as I was solo and completely self reliant.

Arctic Pump - Bad Pump Cup Seal

Hello, I purchased one of these pumps some years ago, and only had the opportunity to use it recently. I noticed that the pump cup seal wasn't sealing properly. I open the pump up, and it looks like it had deteriorated (which is why the pump wasn't functioning properly). Can you tell me where I can get a replacement seal? This style seal looks to be made of some type of leather-ish material, rather than rubber (like on your standard pumps). Thank you.

Specific Details Please

Please explain what modifications are made to this pump compared to the pump supplied in the kit. Since the XGK has always been marketed as a winter stove for melting snow, why would a pump which functions optimally in cold weather not already be the standard pump supplied when purchasing the stove kit?

A question

Did not find another way to ask a question, so: why is ""Use ONLY below 0° C""? What troubles I will face in case of using the pump above zero?
