Apex Ski Boots - don't leave base without them!
I used to buy a new pair of boots every year trying to find something to fit my wide feet and high arches. But no matter what I tried, my feet got cold and after just a few runs, my feet were screaming in pain just waiting in the lift lines. It's hard to stay in control and enjoy yourself if all you're thinking about is your feet. That was the case until I bought my generation 2 Apex boots at REI. For the first time, I could ski all day and didn't need to buy another pair of boots until this year. Don't get me wrong, I've had my Apex boots for over 10 years and I love them, but if there is one complaint about the early boots it's that they are a tough nut to get into the shells. So I decided to order a new pair of Crestone VS boots. They came in and took my skis in to REI for a tune and binding adjustment for the new boots. Well, just came back from an early season run at Keystone and I have to say that Apex and REI did it again! I'll tell anyone that asks... Apex Ski Boots... Don't leave base without them!
My Fave Ski Boots
Fabulous ski boots. I've owned 2 pair over many years. Comfortable, practical, no issues with performance. Note it is still critical to get properly fitted etc.
Most precise fit ever!
Super precise fit out of the box with the BOA system. Tons of support and great power transfer to the skis edge. I'm never going back to traditional boots!
Get Fitting Boots
Just bought these. Tried on several different brands. These were by far the most comfortable. Can't wait to get on the mountain with these. I'm a pretty good skier but, not an expert.
Foot box is Narrow & Tight
The premise of these boots is so appealing but the foot box is too narrow and tight (and I have narrow feet)! Nothing I did with the lower part of BOA system made it more comfortable. I wore the boots for 5 minutes and the outer, middle portion of my feet were burning/tingling. Tried the next size up and same thing. Really disappointed.
