Sizing Notes
Rock Shoes: Scarpa recommends you downsize 1/2 to 2 full sizes from street shoe size, though downsizing depends on shoe model, intended use and personal preference.
Mountaineering: Scarpa recommends you upsize 1/2 size or more depending on desired fit. Scarpa plastic mountaineering boots are based on the UK sizing scale.
Ski Boots: All Scarpa ski bootsare measured in Mondo sizing.Highlighted (or not) sizes share the same shell size; the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

Best Maestrale ever!
This is the second pair of Maestrale's that I have purchased. My first pair was from 2018 and this new version beats it in every way. The flex is much smoother and more similar to my regular alpine boots. Plus, the range of motion in walk mode is even better than the old version which makes it even better in the skin track. I've even skied these a few times at the resort and find that they offer plenty of performance and comfort for a full day of riding the chair lift. After skiing for nearly 40 years, this is my favorite pair of ski boots ever.
