Love the slight extra length for ear coverage!
I have had almost "the same" Smartwool beanie for some time and was very happy with it, except one thing ... it wasn't long enough to stay over my ears when I was sleeping! THIS ONE however, IS long enough, which is great. What I love about this is that it is thin enough to go under a ball cap, hoodie, etc. Also with the extra length, I can put my mid-back length hair in a bun to sleep in AND still have enough length to keep my ears covered. For me the extra Of course, it can be rolled/folded up if the extra length isn't needed.
