Perfect for the Scottish weather

This is amazing for keeping you warm around key areas on your walks, especially when you are facing abrupt changes of temperature due to the wind. I use this midlayer for all my walking/hiking… in forests, on moors, on higher ground. It keeps me warmer than a fleece and means I don’t have to carry extra layers everywhere with me. Ultimately most days, in the warmer months I team this up with the borealis jacket and that adds more weather proofing without bulk, I can keep the borealis over the top, open and not overheat whilst riding out the odd shower or two. This is an amazing hard working piece of clothing which is usable year round due to its amazing versatility.

Only wore it for a skyrun (scramble mountain run) in cold, dry conditions up to now. Was perfect. Didn't have to change my layering too often at all. Feel like the thin fleece along with the windproof layer on just parts of it make it perfect for this kind of day where you're moving quickly but it's cold. It fits me very snug (size 8), but size 10 was very baggy around the bottom. Very happy with it for now, plan to use for multipitch climbing in warmer weather too.
