Stylish but sturdy
These boots look good but are performing well. Comfort is really important and they deliver in this category. They are still in a break-in period but I don't see them breaking down. I will be using them on light trail hikes very soon. That's when I will know if I will repeat this purchase when I wear them out. The only negative is they are hard to pull on just the same as my other 2 pair of Sotel boots. These boots could use a finger pull on the back.
Comfortable and stylish
I primarily bought these to wear to work and commuting by bike and have found a new favorite shoe. They’re comfortable, functional and stylish. I haven’t tested out the waterproofness yet. I found they are also true to size as I usually wear a 10 in Keens and 10 were exactly right here.
Boots are great, laces are not.
The boots are great! They fit well and and very much waterproof. However, the laces that they have are terrible. I’ve only had the boots for a few weeks, maybe worn then 5-8 times, one lace has already broken.
Runs small
The Carson boots run at least one size smaller than the Madson. I agree with the other review that the ankle feels very uncomfortable as well but I will try to size up and give them another chance.

Great boots, weak shoelaces.
I like the boots; I find them comfortable and stylish, however, the shoelaces got really worn out and one of them broke after just a month of a pretty normal use - just from walking city streets.
Was expecting better.
Boots look very good (Wet Sand color). Not the most comfortable and after only a few months of periodic use, the laces are beginning to show signs of wear and tear.

I love the color, they are a great looking boot...as far as being comfortable, I can't really comment on that yet as I think they need to get broken in a bit yet.
Sorel Carson Boot
Comfortable right out of the box. They look great and can go dress up or casual. Fit is spot on. Would highly recommend these boots.

Fit great right away. Look great for the office and around town. The only thing is there isn’t much padding around the ankle.
