Worth the price
I own a travel camper and was looking for a practical sleep system that would be comfortable, easily packed, and importantly, easy to clean while on the road. This is exactly what I was looking for. I expect this travel sheet will prove very useful during camper travel and foreign trips. The light and airy silk/cotton blend fabric looks and feels great, and the item is well constructed, with lots of room to spread out. Doing laundry while camping is always a hassle, so I am pleased that I'll be able to hand wash this in a sink and air dry it quickly. I also look forward to enjoying my own comfortable cocoon while traveling in regions where insects are a concern and accommodations are not optimal. I'm sorry I hesitated so long to buy this. I would definitely recommend this item to a friend.
In my all-time top 10 travel and warm-weather camping items!`
I've used the Silk-Cotton liner for travel for 5+ years now. It is *always* in my travel bag. I use it as my sleeping bag about 1/2 the year in California. I also use it when sleeping on couches, hostels, etc. Pros: * It packs down slightly smaller than my fist. * It is extremely comfortable, I prefer the feel to my bed sheets * Seems to keep dry well * Comes in Long! Neutral: * You are paying for high quality
Very compact
Super compact. I end up just packing it with my sleeping bag which doesn't at any more bulk and I would never notice I have it. The material is mostly cotton, but still plenty of comfortable and light feeling for hot nights. With the extra material for you head allows you to use this for hostel stays and sketchy motels.
Perfect addition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to add just a touch of warmth and as a layer between me and my pad since I use a quilt. It was perfect. The only thing I would change would be to add a cut part way down the side to make entry and exit a bit easier. I may end up adding that myself. Over all exactly what I was looking for.
Compression SIL is epically efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compression SIL is epically efficient at its purpose. My Anthracite Men's 20°F is about 30% of its packaged loose-sack size. Getting a second for my women's bag, hoping it's sturdy enough use as a standalone without shoving into a larger pack (when not actively backpacking).
Comfortable Liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's comfortable to sleep in. I liked it. As it is sewn to the top on both sides, it's hard to get into, especially when also getting into a sleeping bag in a small pack tent. Problem was solved when my wife, who sews, opened a side seam from the top down about 30 inches.
Bag liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice soft fabric. Sea to Summit is a great brand, but I’d love this a lot more if there was side entry flaps of some kind- even for 20” or so. I’ll be creating my own I guess. For all who need to shimmy out of bag in the middle of the night, this makes it easier.
Seems well made, only time will tell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought these for a trekking trip in Patagonia where we slept in sleeping bags provided by the outfitter and of questionable hygiene. We survived the trip, the liners fold up and repack well and I would recommend this product. (no scientific analysis was done)
Disappointed…initially
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I ordered a size regular… watching weight in packing backpack. Don’t want to get tangled up in the extra length or have the bottom extra length of the bag bulk up against end of tent and get all wet from condensation or rain!!
Silk cotton blend travel liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for sleeping in refugios after returning another that I purchased because it was lighter and I liked the fabric blend. It did not disappoint! As with all my other sea to summit purchases, they are well made.
