Fantastic optics with a decent frame.
The sunglasses are great. The optics are clear and the polarization on them is not weak however it does not make anything look too dark. I will say that sometimes when you are trying to read a screen like an IPad or Phone they can make it a bit hard to see however you will get that with every set of glasses with polarization. Overall they sit on my head or on my eyes for hours. They do not feel too heavy or flimsy. They have taken a number of falls and have not cracked. Some small nicks however nothing major. The value proposition for them is tremendous. You get an amazing lens and a decent frame.
Comfortable with good quality
These are nice sunglasses overall. They seem high quality, I dropped them twice on accident with no issues. Once on a dirt/rock trail and again on asphalt. They are very light and comfortable to wear for long periods. I also like the rubbery nose piece to help keep them from sliding down your nose. My only criticism is they seem a bit too big for me. I have a average sized face but they seemed a bit to large for my preferences.
Great athletic sunglasses
I tried these for the first time on a 10 mile run and they were great! No bounce and only fogged when I stopped moving, but much less so that other wrap-around styles. They’re lightweight, polarized, and comfortable for longer wear. I’d recommend for anyone looking for a performance pair of sunglasses built for movement.
Never wearing anything else
I LOVE THESE Suncloud Boone Polarized Sunglasses. I have shied away from the larger sunglasses because I have a small face. Man, was I wrong. These are great. I ride my bike around Tucson, AZ all the time. I was pleasantly surprised to not have them fog up while climbing Mount Lemmon on a very hot, no wind day. They are comfortable and I like how much protection from the sun they offer. I was also surprised how well they breathe. Great air flow without catching every bug on the down hill. I am so sold on these glasses, even with a small face they are wonderful. Never wearing anything else! I think all my friends should be wearing Suncloud Boone glasses.
Good Sunglasses for a Good Price
This is actually my third pair of Suncloud sunglasses. Over the years I’ve owned Oakley, Smith, Bolle, and various other sunglasses brand. If you do some research you’ll find that Suncloud is actually made by Smith. I like that the Suncloud sunglasses are cheaper but still have good polarized lenses and they also look good. Besides making sure that sunglasses actually protect my eyes, the biggest test for me is whether they’re comfortable and don’t squeeze me into a headache. Thankfully these sunglasses pass the test. I wore them for 5 hours yesterday driving and they were comfortable the entire time. The only reason I’m giving these 4 stars instead of 5 is because while cleaning them one day I accidentally popped one of the lenses out. I don’t think that should happen. Overall, I think these are good sunglasses at a good price.
Very strong frame, polarized, great for sports
These are very strong glasses, practically indestructible. I've slept on them, sat on them, and accidnetally set a backpack on them, with no ill effect. The lenses provide excellent sun protection. The glasses themselves are a bit large for what I would wear in a pub, but are perfect for paddling, hiking, golfing and would be great for spring skiing if it were that season. Great for sports, sun and water, but a bit big for around town.
My new favorite sunglasses
I love these sunglasses!! The rubber on the tips and nose bridge keep these babies in place and keep me from feeling sweaty in this Texas summer heat. The fit is wonderful and they are lightweight, perfect for hiking, I practically forget I'm even wearing them! The view is crisp and the carrying cloth it comes in doubles as a wipe cloth for the lenses, so I always have clear vision. I like these better than my previous pair of sunclouds, better than any pair of sunglasses I've ever owned! Highly recommend!
Great shades, one not-small issue
I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The only thing keeping these from being a 5-star set of specs is the size; I have a pretty big head to start with and these engulfed my face. Probably means they would be fantastic for skiing, but it’s July in Texas so I haven’t tested that out. Otherwise, they look great, are extremely comfortable, haven’t had any slippage issues…they’re just large.
Perfect for biking
Fit: I like these sunglasses because they do not budge, regardless of how fast I turn my head or what the wind throws at me, and stay firmly in place on my face. The tips of the glasses fit securely behind my ears and don’t feel too tight. The bridge of the sunglass’s rests comfortably on my nose. Feel: Lightweight, but not flimsy. The frame seems durable and has survived a few bumpy rides in the bottom of my backpack on cloudy days. Optics: I love the field of view these sunglasses provide. The frames do not obstruct your field of view for the most part. I like this feature because I tend to forget that I’m wearing the sunglasses. The polarization of these lenses seems legit, I have not noticed any glare from water surfaces or cars since I’ve started wearing them. Looks: My wife noted that these sunglasses have a slightly feminine look to them because the lenses seem oversized. I typically only wear them when I’m biking, and I would disagree with her when they sit below a helmet. When I’m running, I do think they look a little oversized for my head. For what its worth, I have a big head that is somewhat narrow in the middle. Overall: I would recommend these sunglasses to any biker looking for a solid pair of sunglasses but not interested in breaking the bank. You’ll forget you’re wearing them because they’re very comfortable and provide an excellent field of view.
Great adventure glasses
Frames are sturdy and light weight, they feel strong enough to take some abuse. Lenses block a good amount of light but remain light enough that you don’t have to take them off in the shade just to be able to see. Overall i would say these will replace my oakleys for hiking and camping at a much better price point
