Got it for my brother and so far used it on a few higher elevation summer trips in a tent. He says it's plenty warm, the "foot hole" is convenient, and it packs down small for backpacking (much better than his 20 degree synthetic - this one actually fits in the pack). I was a bit concerned about the spotty insulation fill that you can see if you hold it up to a light, but he says so far it hasn't made a difference he can notice.
