check. sizing. Legs big. noisy
Probably excellent...but noticeably bigger than the same exact patagonia pants I currently have...which were "small" as well. My old ones, which finally need replacing were excellent. Long side zips a plus. Noisy
Good fit but made too much noise
Fit well but I couldn't stand the crinkly noise that it made which was probably caused by the stiffness of the material. Normally, I love Patagucci but this one is going back. For reference on the size, I'm 5'4", 128#, 30" inseam; got size S/Short and wore leggings underneath to try them on.
Well made!
I've had these for a year and they are great! I wear them for bike commuting in the rain and they do the job. I wear them over my regular pants, and the side zipper on the leg goes way up, so I can easily remove them without having to take off my boots (which if you've ever had to do that, you know how annoying it gets). Highly recommend. I'm usually a size 4/6, and the Small fits well over pants.
Leg seams rip apart within 3 wears! FRAGILE!
Only wore these 3 times in mild rainy conditions and the seams started tearing apart in various places on both legs. They fit properly, were not tight, but they just don’t hold up to walking, nevermind hiking. Terrible quality. Very grateful for REI’s 1 year return membership.
Runs Large
I wear a size 8 to 10 and bought a different brand in a large that fits better. A med may have worked in these but the large is too big and too long. Also have to agree with prior review, stiff and loud fabric. If I could get these in a different size and one sale, they are nice pants and would keep them but like the other mountain hard pair better.
Fit a bit awkward
First thought out of the box is that the fit around the hips and waist is a little wierd. seems like it would fit a male body better or someone who has no curves. I miss the Marmot pants. The noise is a bit louder than the marmot. I am going to try them out on a few hikes and see. If the fit is awkward when walking I'm returning them.
