Fabulous for walking!

I wear these things all day long, and my feet don’t hurt. I walk walk walk around my classroom- no running. :) They’ve been fabulous for my plantar fasciitis. They work just as well as my Hokas.

Way too much cushion
Krista
These may be the worst running shoes I’ve ever worn. They have far too much cushion. It felt like running on a wet sponge, my foot sinking in with every step. There is zero responsiveness to this shoe. It would be comfortable to run errands in but definitely not for running.

Most comfortable shoes I've worn

I've heard nothing but good things about this brand, and so was excited to try these. Let me tell you, they didn't disappoint. From the moment I tried them on it was like walking on clouds. Both the heal and toe bed were super soft and comfortable. The first sneaker I've worn where I felt my full step was soft and comfortable. Due to the soft I was afraid they would be a bit unstable while running, but suprisingly not. I felt stable and controlled through all steps. That said while walking sometimes I do get that unstable feel due to the full compression of the sole, but I think over time I will not notice this. I'm not a big fan of orange, so I was a bit afraid of those color accents, but they're neon enough that I don't mind it at all. I received these in a 7.5, my typical size, and feel like they're true to size. They fit very well and have a wide enough toe box that my toes don't feel squished at all. The only thing I don't like is they have a very padded tongue. I have a hard time getting them tightened to the level that I feel is tight enough to not slip out, but not too tight as to be uncomfortable. The laces themselves are a bit ribbed, and stay tied very well.

Black Women’s Cloudsurfer ON shoe

Women’s Cloudsurfer tennis Shoe is made for pavement walking/ running. I feel like the shoe is very comfortable with extra cushioning and wide width so fits nice. I don’t know how sole with recycled materials will hold out but definitely like the idea. Grip of sole wouldn’t be suitable for trail paths which is a downside, and shoe material also not protected against poor weather like rain/ snow. The comfort level is higher than even Hoka Tennis shoes, very impressive! I’ve been wearing these shoes nonstop for 2 weeks because I like them so much. Chose black so would match with most of my sports/ work outfits. Would like as slip on, like basic ON!

Squeaky LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS

I absolutely loved these shoes so much. They were soft but not like I felt like I was walking in quicksand like the New Balance ones. Had lots of arch support. Didn’t flare my plantar fasciitis. I got tons of compliments when I wore them. However… I wore them a few times and they started this LOUD squeaking noise. It is so annoying and everyone looks at me when I walk near them. It has got to be a design flaw for sure. I should have listened to the reviews because I bought two pairs do I had a back up.

Running in Shape-ups

These felt a bit like running in shape-ups. I do occasional road running, usually 2 miles on relatively flat pavement every one or two weeks. Running in these really pulled on/worked all of my leg muscles, not in a good way. I've been trying to run with a more flat-foot approach and it's nearly impossible to do that in these. With that, the fit of these is great. I have long, narrow feet and these were perfectly snug all around. Probably wouldn't be the best for someone with wide feet, but felt great for my narrow feet. I also love that they come in half-sizes. They are definitely true to size.

Pleasantly surprised

I was hesitant because of the hype of on cloud, but they deliver! The spring is fantastic — I have had some issues with my patella and the recommended shoe was not this one, but I LOVE it and feel the support, the launch, and I think my strike has transformed from a solid heel strike to a midsole strike!! It has been wonderful running with them… I am so surprised, somewhat in love with these!!

So Comfortable

Like others have said, these shoes make an annoying squeaky sound on most hard surfaces. That's the only reason I took off one star, because these babies are amazingly comfortable. Due to spinal issues I can no longer run, but I need a sturdy, cushiony athletic shoe for walking, and these feel great. In fact, it was love at first step in the store, and later felt great on the treadmill. Like most athletic shoes, I needed to go up one half size from my street shoes.

Light and bouncy road running shoe

I was happily surprised by the fit and feel of these shoes right out of the box. They are true to size with great room in the toes. For someone with a narrow foot, these shoes hug my feet and feel secure without having to pull the laces super tight. These are also great for narrow heels - I didn't even have to add a special runner's lacing to ensure my heel stayed in place securely. The heel is very springy and almost felt wobbly (like high heels) at first because there is so much cushion in the middle. However, after a few runs and getting used to the feel of the shoe, I really enjoy how the extra springiness seems to propel you forward. I'm also enjoying these shoes for everyday wear in addition to running. In person, the mint green color looks great with casual clothes and the sporty orange sole isn't noticeable.

Super comfortable!

I wore these shoes for my long daily walks on both paved trails and sidewalks and they were SO comfortable. They are really cushioned and feels like walking on a cloud! I also liked them for shorter runs, but I personally need a bit more stability in running shoes for longer distances. Overall these are a great shoe for short runs, walking, running errands, and traveling. The color was also very cute and colorful which I liked! They run true to size.

Cloud-like Comfort & Sustainable Design

What a game-changer! Not only do these shoes perform exceptionally well, but they also have a positive impact on the environment. They're designed without plastic overlays and are made from 30% recycled materials. Plus, they're manufactured using water-saving dope dye technology. It's great to see a brand prioritizing sustainability without compromising on quality. If you have flat feet, these shoes have got your back (or rather, your feet). The specialized support and targeted cushioning provided the comfort and stability you've been looking for those long runs or those power walks. For the last two weeks I've taken the shoes on 2 to 5 mile runs on the road, hiking on the trail and even leveraged it for running at the gym. I found myself picking them up for even small errands. In a nutshell, the shoes offer cloud-like comfort, sustainable design, and support for flat feet. They're a game-changer for runners who want the best of all worlds. Lace up and let these shoes take you on an incredible running journey!

Peak Squeak

When other reviewers mentioned squeaking, I didn't think much of it. But this is literally THE noise that will drive you and everyone around you insane. It's like little mouse-torture devices with. every. step. always. never. stops. ever. always. squeak squeak squeak. Rain, sun, pavement, indoors. Started maybe 2 weeks after purchase. I've been an ON fan for years but yeah, no. Will be shopping for a new brand. Take the advice I did not: Avoid these shoes. Well, unless you loooove squeaks. Don't wanna yuck your yum or whatever.
