Possibly the best money I have ever spent. This gadget works great and if you put it on your chest; you can talk like a Dalek. Unexpected bonus there.
I’ve worked with Hyperice brand products for a little over a year as a physical therapy tech and I have loved my experience with their products. I wish the Go 2 came with a few more head attachments that I’ve been used to using the Elite and the Pro. For the most part it’s straight forward. I’ve only ever used Hyperice products for percussion massage so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I will say though, even at the highest speed the Go 2 is pretty quiet for how fast the head is moving. I would love to try a Pro or Elite and see how the pressure sensing features work along with the acoustics.
Just beware, 11 months of use, and the USB connection does not work anymore, so getting it to fully charge isn’t working.
Surprisingly powerful for such a small device. An upgrade with my original Hypervolt.
It works well as a massage device and for that it gets 5 stars. However, the USB-C port is designed incorrectly and won't charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable. It only charges with a USB-A (rectangle) to USB-C cable. This is a known issue that arises when device doesn't implement the USB-C power delivery protocol, usually occuring on cheap devices where shortcuts are taken to reduce costs. For a $100+ device, it is reasonable for the customer to expect that they implement the electronics correctly.
I’ve experienced many different percussion massagers and this one is my favorite! The size is perfect when traveling, and it has a lot of power for its size, making it both convenient and effective to use! It would be even more convenient with an actual on/off “switch,” and additional heads. Right now additional heads cost extra, when most brands come with six to eight heads. All in all it’s a great little self care device!
I bought this for myself and, alas, my family has stolen it! While this isn't the top-of-the-line version from Hyperice, I opted for this as the price was right and the size was a bit smaller than the fully loaded version. I couldn't be more satisfied. There are three speed settings and two heads included. I've yet to feel like I need more options than that! I'm a huge fan and would recommend this to anyone.
This mini version of the hypervolt pro is great for travel and still gives a powerful massage. As a physical therapist, I have used a lot of massage guns and hyperice is one of the best out there. Great battery life, consistent and strong percussion. The other “cheaper” brands aren’t half as strong on their highest setting. I use this on ski trips or for a quick recovery after working out too!
