[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owala 24oz FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle, by far, is the best water bottle ever made in my opinion. The locking mechanism doubles as a carrying handle. The flip button reveals a built in straw and sip spout. The water bottle keeps my water cool all day long, fits in my car’s cup holder, and is dishwasher safe. The black color is professional and the bottle holds quite a bit of liquid before refilling.
Convenient for Life and Outdoor
I am really impressed with how Owala FreeSip Vacumm Water Bottle - 24 FL OZ is conveniently helping both my daily life and outdoor activities. The "two option" of sip provide immediate access to my favorite fluid inside bottle so quickly. The options are yours to decide depending on the temperature of the fluid, and how fast you might want to drink from it. The bottle is also around the right size, you could grab it in your hand, have a sip while waiting in the car, during work etc. And whenever I carried it with my hike around the hills, the hook on the top can be easily operated so that your fingers can be fit into it comfortably. Even with the weight of the full bottle of fluid, the whole thing does not feel super heavy to carry. I had no problem holding it for like a few hours with my hike. The temperature preserving feature in general is okay to trust with, my hot tea carried to my hike was well kept with its temperature for quite a few hours. And also I tried it with my large size overnight backpacking pack, there is even more ways to enjoy the drinks by just attaching it to the size pocket of the pack. In general, I really like this bottle and would recommend it.
Great versatility
I am a religious water drinker, so I generally have a water bottle with me at all times. My go to before I received this bottle was the contigo autoseal stainless water bottle. I was intrigued by the design that you have both a straw and an open mouth option. I generally don’t like straw bottles because you usually have to drink out of a silicone spout which I don’t like the taste of and it’s hard to clean. With this bottle I found myself using the straw option more often. No yucky silicon, easy to clean, and good flow of water. As for the open spout option (which is how I’m used to drinking), I found I would tend to spill water on myself because I wanted to put my lips around the straw part and water would flow above it. See picture. Not a major problem but something I would have to learn not to do. I liked how the water bottle locked. It made sense to me that the loop (where I generally held the bottle) dual purposed as the lock. The only downside I could see is that if you were hanging your bottle from your backpack via the loop, I could see the button potentially getting pushed and popping open. I love the look, the large size, and it kept my water nice and cold! This is going to sound funny but I love that you can take large gulps with this bottle. (Especially helpful when working out or hiking) Overall a great water bottle with an new design and great versatility for all types of drinkers!
My new favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water bottle is my new favorite. It is such a fun color- I love it. It keeps my drinks cold all day- with no condensation. This is super important as I am my desk all day and my drinks would never stay cold, as inevitably I would get busy and not drink it for awhile. But not with this. And, it doesn’t leave water all over my desk- I just can’t have that with my paperwork. The outside is just a little rough- but this is good. My grip is worsening due to physical health issues- I am always dropping smooth items. The grip on this is just enough to help prevent that. There is a straw to sip from or you can tip it up and gulp. This is the only downfall- if the bottle tips over, the liquid does spill out rather quickly. As long as I keep it sealed, this should not be an issue. It seems made of high quality materials. It has survived the dishwasher- which is important in our house. I am happy with this and would recommend it to others. My 7 year old daughter has increased her water consumption just because she likes it so much, which is another bonus!!
wife's favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Owala water bottle is by far my wife's favorite water bottle. She puts ice in it every morning and it's still in there by 5 pm that night. It is very durable as our children have dropped it a few times. It comes in multiple colors but we have the pink one and it's very vibrant. You can either use the mouth piece to drink or use the straw. It is really spill proof as we filled it with water and turned it upside down to check it out. Absolutely no water spilled out of it. It has a lock on it to hold it closed as well.
Lightweight and durable!

I was wanting a water bottle that kept water cold for longer then the hour my old bottle did. The bottle kept it cold like I had just put it in the bottle. I used it for several hours. I can’t wait to use in the Florida theme parks where my old bottle was dripping all the time from the backpack. Easy to pour spout and has the straw if you choose. Easy to grip and secure. Fine product!
Bad release button
Bottle is sturdy and color is scratch resistant. However, the release button broke after two months. It just popped off and even though we pushed it back on it would spring right off suddenly. That is how we lost the plastic cover on the spring.
No Drips! Great Colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying to do the right thing and drink more water. This colorful, leak-proof water bottle fits in the car cup holder and holds 24 ozs of liquid. It is slender and fits in my hand. Love the fact that the lid comes off and ice cubes fit in. It's got a lid lock and a built in straw. It is insulated and my ice lasted all day.. doesn't leave a ring on the table either.
Solved my "drinking problem"
I rarely write reviews, but this little water bottle has brought me so much joy since I bought it that I had to come here and preach. The Owala 24oz feels insanely good in your hand. It has a straw without looking silly. It keeps things hot, it keeps things cold. It fits in my car cup holder, bicycle bottle cage, backpack side pocket. And it looks sleek as h*ck. After having a giant Hydroflask for years, I'm a convert. No more splashing water on my face accidentally. No more struggling to hold it one handed. No more opening and closing a screw top lid. This guy does everything my Hydroflask did but way better and half the price. As you can tell, I'm in love. Do yourself a favor - if you're on the fence, go for it.
Perfect size
This bottle is the perfect size for everything. It fits perfectly in cup holders in my truck so traveling with it didn’t mean it was sitting in the seat or falling on the floorboard. I wasn’t too sure about the spout with the straw. I prefer no straw on my bottles. However, this top worked well to turn it up to drink and to also sip using the straw. That design gives the best of both worlds. I used this on a hike, for a workout, and while I was at work. The bottle is tough and convenient.
