Yes I would buy these agian.

I use these shorts for hiking, camping, the zoo, and other outdoor activities that I might get sweaty or dirty doing. They fit great. I wear a women's 14-16 depending on the bottoms and the 14 fits very well. They have a little give in them as well which is nice. I love that the slightly longer inseam helps prevent them from riding up in between the legs when walking ( I find it annoying when my shorts do that). I hike with my phone in the back pocket and have not had any issues. I also like that the front pockets are very deep! The side zipper pocket is not very big but is still useful for things like keys and tissues.

Great shorts with a small sizing caveat

I really like these shorts! They aren't quite as comfortable as their shorter inseam sibling, but still very nice. Sizing down is helpful with Ferrosi's womens' pants. I typically wear a 14 in jeans and fitted pants and the 12 fits best in the Ferrosi fitted size shorts and pants.

Very Lightweight & Comfortable

Glad to have found on sale! I sympathize with reviewers who strongly miss the side pocket. I get it. I'm ok without because I usually carry my phone for picture taking on long walks through the preserves/woods. I appreciate the fit and the fabric of the Ferrosi. Can't attest to wear as they are pretty new. Also can't attest to wind proof or water proof. Mature woman who truly appreciates the 7" length. 5'1", 117. The size 10 gives plenty of room in waist/hips/thighs. Skinny legs so most shorts' legs too wide, bu gives me good movement room. Love the Moab color! Just ordered in Flint. Wish there were more colors offered. Not a fan of the Fatigue or the Yellow/Green shades. Easy Care. Cold Wash, Tumble Dry with prompt removal. I'm pleased.

Inaccurate sizing..

Inaccurate sizing on these shorts. Usually wear a size 6, reviews said these run small, ordered an 8, very small. Do not recommend due to sizing issues.

Super comfortable and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found these pants to be very durable, easy to hike and climb in and fit true to size. The pockets suit my needs and the materials of the pants keep me cool but also provide protection against rocks and sun. I purchased a size 4 and found them to fit perfectly. I am 5'6", 130 lbs with a body akin to a coffin (no hips, no waist, broad shoulders, comfortable in dirt). I'd definitely buy another pair. I purchased the verde and now have my eyes set on the naval blue.

Comfortable and the perfect length

I recently purchased a pair of ferrosi shorts, 7" length. I'm 5'4 and I think the length is great. They are come to a couple of inches above my knee (long enough that there is no inner thigh chaffing) and the shorts aren't too tight in the leg opening (I'm more curvy vs slim in the thigh). I haven't had a chance to use them heavily yet-will update if I see the need, but expect that they will be great based on what I've seen so far.

The old ferrosi model was far superior

I'm a little disappointed just as others have said. I'm a long time lover of the ferrosi pants and shorts. The women's ferrosi pants are an absolute favorite but the new shorts are definitely missing the zipper pocket and deep front pocket! I can't ride my bike anymore without fear of losing my phone out of my pocket. Please consider the redesign next year to re-incorporate the old pocket positives!

Best Women's Hiking Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd pair of Ferrosi Shorts with the 7" inseam. I love that they don't ride up or cause chaffing like shorter running shorts do. They dry so quickly which is so needed with how much I sweat. Pockets are perfect. I like that their is one zipper pocket which is great when I'm traveling and trying to prevent myself from being pickpocketed.

Love these Shorts

These are my new favourite shorts. As an older guide, I appreciate the longer length. The shorts have a nice stretch and the pockets are large enough for my phone. 5'4" 150 lb and hippy and size 12 fit perfectly. They are comfortable and breathable and dry fast! Going to purchase another pair in a different colour!

Super lightweight, breathable, and the perfect length

I love these shorts. They are lightweight, breathable, and the pockets are a great size. Even better, there are several lengths to choose from. I am over 50 yo, and the 7" shorts are perfect. There is a drawstring in the waistband, so they feel secure. Will buy them in several colors for summer hiking.
