Sizes are all over the place.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a great shirt for the summer but unfortunately the sizes are very inconsistent. I initially ordered these in 4 different colours all in size large (I'm a Large in T-shirts across all brands). I could squeeze into them because of the stretch the shirts offer, but they were all too tight. The smallest shirt was the Fatigue Plaid, followed by the Naval Blue Plaid. I believe the second largest was the Slate and the Dark Sand, the largest fitting shirt. I exchanged all of them for the XLs. I found the same issue with the XLs in that they were different sizes based on the colour. I was able to keep the XL Fatigue Plaid because it was so small, but the others were far too big.
I literally just threw one shirt away.
Childish? Perhaps, but I just left one in the trash can at my hotel and re-wore another shirt. I have concluded there is no way for me to make these shirts presentable for casual wear. The do not come out of the dryer wash and wear, they do not dry wrinkle free if hung wet, and the lowest iron setting that creates steam will melt them. Using a hand steamer is not exactly travel friendly. Sure, I tried the "hand it in bathroom while you shower" routine and it did nothing. So, to anyone here throwing 4 stars and up I am asking to please tell me how to get them to not look like you found it under your bed. I have two more left in my closet and they are in peril of joining the first in the garbage.
Super comfortable, the snaps are not durable
Super comfortable and breathe as well. I’ve bought five of these so far and they’re fantastic. One thing that some people might care about is that the paint or coating on the snaps comes off and chips really easily. I don’t really care about this so it’s not an issue for me, but some people that are concerned with fashion might have an issue with it.
My NICE shirt
After I take off the ECHO shirt and dive in the ocean for a wash, I out this one on. I'm either in the Echo long sleeve (all day don't all sports) or in this-period! OR has made my life living on our cat so much more cofrtable. Both my wife and I rock these all day long while guiding our guests in and around Saint Maarten
Favorite shirt
These are my favorite casual and outdoor shirts. I own several of these in most of the colors. The fabric is light and silky and with just the right stretch. They are nice and breathable for hiking but can also be worn around town or at work. The naval blue and and darker red (from circa 2021?) are my favorites and both look very sharp when paired with white pants. The current orange-red one (redrock) is not as pleasant of a color as the previous darker red. Please bring back the darker red from a few years ago! Also consider making them in more interesting/bolder colors.
Please make it in solid Naval blue!!!
My wardrobe is like half Astroman s/s shirts at this point. Please make this shirt in solid naval blue (like the l/s version)! The solid colors look way better than the plaids.
The OR Astroman is awesome! I got the short sleeve version to "check it out", I love it!! It wears well while at the office, especially on those 100+ degree days. It wicks well, super light, & just feels nice. The OR suites everyone from beginner to expert. I have also added two long sleeve Astroman to my collection. These also work great for hiking, hunting on those warmer sunny days. Definitely would recommend the Astroman to anyone. I did size up for the long sleeve shirt(XL to XXL). Last but not least, I'll get multiple compliments when I wear these shirts.

I've got three, love the fit, hate the wrinkles
As soon as my first ones arrived, I ordered more. The fit and feel were perfect (6'3/195 in XL). I thought they would be the perfect pack rolled shirt. So now I have three different colors and they feel good and are well constructed. Turns out, I should have done laundry first. So far I can't figure out a way to pack them without them appearing horribly wrinkled. I typically roll pack and that results in an almost linen like wrinkle pattern. Does not matter much on the trail, but if you were planning on wearing them into town or the airport you are going to look like you found it under your bed. Even if pulled from the dryer while still warm, you are going to need to iron it if you want to look anything like the pictures.
So soft and comfy. Good "low profile" shirt for hiking
Part of the struggle as a hefty dude is still finding low profile shirt that don't get snagged on branches, etc. This isn't a shirt you'd wear sitting around the office unless you were a super-fit dude. But that's not what I buy there for. It looks great while I am hiking and does well when I sweat. I haven't tested this is super-humid of really hot weather yet. But I am anticipating it will do fine. I have shirts like this from all the major brands so I can tell this if going to perform above average for a technical shirt in those conditions.
My Wife Says I Have Found My Style
Finally, after years of going through graphic tees, tank tops, and assorted other styles, I have found my ideal shirt. This shirt fits amazing, is light as air, and comfortable to boot. The best thing about this shirt might be the versatility. I have literally worn it to go climbing, on the river, AND in parent teacher conferences (I'm a teacher). I bought three in different colors. My wife looks to me and says "I think you have finally found your style." Thanks goodness, that was exhausting.
