Good- while they lasted
These boots were great for about a year of very light use. The integrity of the waterproof did not hold up. They have cracked on seams and now water gets in. I only used them for morning meadow walks with the dogs . Tread has not worn at all but I will have to retire them from anything wet witch defeats the purpose of the boot.
Cute but not the most functional
These boots are cute and water resistant, but beware if you have wider feet...I have a hard time walking over a mile in these shoes because they are narrow. In addition, after having the for a month and a half, the outer water-resistant layer on one side tore open.
Worked well, broke too soon
Bought them because I spend all day walking and standing in the rain due to work. They were comfortable, and I really loved them while I had them. I felt they held on to my heel better than similar boots I had tried. Unfortunately, in under three months, the sole and uppers split, and they were no longer waterproof.
Much more comfortable than any other rain boot
Most comfortable waterproof dedicated rain boot around. Comfortable insole and toe box, just right around the ankle. I have narrow-medium feet, exactly a 7.5 and these fit perfectly in size 7. I tried other brands: Cougar were so narrow and uncomfortable in both 7 and 8, Sorel also had a super narrow toe box plus my feet slid forward inside, and then Pendleton were the absolute worst because I could feel the square piece of the sole through the shoe on the inside like balancing on a tiny square. So if you're like me and prefer to avoid waterproofed leather, Bogs are the best most comfortable rain boots! LOVE then!
Very comfortable!
I ordered these to wear camping. They are so stylish I'm wearing them around town too. I don't just wear them in the rain. They are great for chilly mornings too. I wear a 9.5 med. I ordered a 10. Perfect fit. I bought the green that are on sale. I like them so much I'm ordering the orange at full price.
Most comfortable boots - straight out of the box
Disclosure - this is the first pair of rain boots I've owned. That being said, straight out of the box, the fit of the rubber and cushioned sole got me through a full day of work and I didn't immediately kick them off when I got home! I love the design and am already eyeing the leather version. As for size, I am pretty consistently a size 7M. (They felt a little loose rather than snug for me, but not uncomfortably so.)
Boots not made to last
I mostly use these to walk around the city and to take out the dog, who insists on sniffing everything even in a downpour. I bought these boots almost two years ago and there’s now a section of the inner arch of both boots, where the sole meets the upper, that’s come undone and lets water in. Other than the disappointing quality, they were comfortable but a bit heavy as rain boots typically are. I would not pay full price for them again.
Comfortable and stylish but difficult to get on
The boot is stylish, comfortable, and perfect for wet or rainy weather. My only complaint is that it is rather difficult to pull onto my feet and get on. I have to struggle for a minute to get the boot fully on which detracts from my comfort of using the boots and has caused me to use them much less frequently than intended and hoped. Unfortunately, another family member threw out the original packaging before I realized I didn't love the style, so I couldn't exchange them for a different style. I would definitely buy Bogs boots again, just not this specific style.
Nice bootie
These boots are very cute and look great. I'm not sure about the quality. You can see the glue on the inner stretchy part. So, that looks like sloppy finish. They seem a little hard to put on and pull off, which also keeps them in place. I am hoping they have a little give. I am keeping them because they fit my wide-ish foot and high arch. I tried the tall version and loved it so much, but it was too tall for my short legs. I haven't tested them outside yet. So, we'll see how comfortable they are for walking around the city.
Didn't work out
I really wanted to love this cute boot, but it fell short of my expectations. I have owned many pairs of Bogs in the past and use them for yard work. The first time I wore these boots I ended up with nasty blisters on both sides of my legs towards the top of wear the boot ends. I blamed the socks. The next time I wore them I wore longer socks and ended up with blisters on both of my pinky toes. I rely on having a pair of boots for yard work, and ended up buying a taller pair of bogs like I have worn in the past.
