Looks fantastic, functional

Installed on Cannondale Allroad Neo. I'm not riding anything gnarly with this bike but wanted a set of fenders to keep me clean and dry on 'those' days. These look fantastic on the Allroad. I had REI install them when I picked up the bike. I was a little concerned when I first saw it that the rear Topeak rack would not clear the fender, but it all came together like they were designed for each other. Have already been through some sloppy and bumpy stuff and the SKS kept me and the bike tidy. I couldn't be happier.

Best Option

I put it on every fall/winter season. Lots of rain and mud in the PNW. It does a good job at keeping that big, wet and muddy stripe from going up your back. It does flex and will hit the rear tire when coming off of jumps and drops, but it doesn't hurt the fender or the tire. Installation tip: mount it closer to the rear tire and further from your rear suspension linkage. If you mount it too close to the linkage, then when the suspension compresses, you may crack the fender. Ask me how I know :)

A great mud blocker

An updated design that works incredibly well. Easy to install and remove. And best of all, no mud up my backside anymore!

Waaaay too floppy, Don't buy

This guard installed well and I like the front Mudrocker fender but the rear flops SO BAD! I want to be clear I had it installed properly nice and tight but no matter how high I ran it the fender flops into the rear tire when you leave the ground at all or hit roots. This drove me nuts so I threw the fender in the trailhead dumpster mid ride. Try again with this one SKS and make this fender way stiffer.

Awesome

In the past year, I have purchased 5 different rear fenders. Even without riding with this one yet, I know 100% that this has the coverage that I am looking for. I ride an electric mountain bike and will often cross muddy streams. This one seems a little heavier than the others. Because I have an eBike, I value the mud protection over weight. It comes two extensions and I love both. The mounting system is solid yet removable. My only question mark: I don’t yet know if it will shift with wind pressure whe I drive at high speeds. If it does, then I may have to remove it before I put my bike on the rack. That will be a nuisance. I recommend using the included paint protection film. BTW, coincidentally I have been using the SKS front fender for over a year.

I am impressed

I didn't give much hope that this mud guard would fit. It fit perfectly. Quality is very good. Attachment points are very secure. These fenders look perfect on a mountain bike. I don't see anyway that they are going to get damaged in a crash. Super flexible but solid.

Clever attachment keeps fender close to tire

The way the fender attaches keeps it close to the tire on my Ghost full suspension mountain bike. The old fender attached to the seat post, and had to be too are away to be useful enough. The hook and loop attachment to the wheel frame is strong, and can easily be removed during dryer seasons. It comes with clear peel and stick film to protect the bike finish, though I don’t think it would damage the finish even without. One word of warning: to firmly attach the rear-most short tail piece you have to drill a small hole for a plastic rivet. It calls for a metric size drill. I used the closest fractional inch drill bit, slightly bigger, and the rivet fell out. But the trail piece seems secure and stays on anyway.

Effective once installed

The protection/coverage is good. It fit around the full suspension. The plastic seems rugged. It twists a bit and may rub the tire briefly. I am still a little confused about the best way to orient the velcro straps. The installation directions are a bit vague, so take your time.
