great jacket cuter than pic
I bought three jackets to decide on one for new winter jacket. This one didn’t win, but it was a strong contender. It’s way cuter out of the box than the picture suggests, and I loved how light it was. It was bigger than expected—I generally wear a 12 or 14 pant across most brands and bought a large, and this was very generously sized—I could wear a super bulky sweater under it. It wasn’t as warm as the Marmot coat I ended up keeping, but it was still quite warm and could probably hold up to a mid-Atlantic winter pretty well. It fell to just past my hip (I’m 5’10”) which is exactly where I like a coat to fall, and I appreciated that they gave some room for a girl’s hips. Overall a great coat.
Beautiful and warm coat
This is a really great down jacket. It's less bulky than I expected, albeit very warm so far. I've only worn it down to about 32F but I've been snug with just a t-shirt underneath. I'm 5'8" 145 and ordered a Small. It is a nice fit, and allows enough room for my giant chichis, where a lot of coats squeeze the heck out of the melons. It has a good shape to it and doesn't look like a sack. There are hand warmer side slit pockets behind the horizontally zipping pockets that are so great! I don't try to warm my hands and knock my wallet out in the same effort. There's a vertical zip chest pocket also. The material is pleasing and not too loud although not silent. It's water resistant more than any other down coat I've had. I like the black on black, it's a deep rich black color. The hood is great and you can cocoon in this coat if you want to zip everything all the way up. All zippers function well. The sleeves have a great wrist cuff to them. Even my garmin watch isn't stifled with the sleeve down which happens with all other coats. Basically, they knocked it out of the parka with this coat. Buy this coat and keep on truckin.
My New Favorite!
I sized down and I’m so glad I did! My sister who is typically a Med tried the Med and it was a size too big! I sized down and got XS instead of Sm and it was perfect! I would compare the quality to my ArcTeryx for WAY less
Great jacket!
I love this jacket! Only used it a few times so far, but it is the perfect longer length, has tons of functional pockets and is very warm!
Warm and comfy!
This jacket is warm, puffy and comfie. It’s not too bulky, allows room for extra layers underneath on really cold days. The back covers you butt from the wind and cold.
Toasty and light
I bought this jacket for the butt-covering length, and I'm happy with it. The colors are fun and unusual, too. I'm 5'3, 125, large busted and tried the XS and the S. I had to go with the larger size for the bust. The sleeves are a good length (and have elastic at the wrists for keeping in the warmth), but the hand-warmer pockets on the S are just slightly too low for me. I kept the jacket because that's not a key feature for me, but I do think it's scaled for a taller person.
Love love this down jacket! Worth every penny
Best down jacket I’ve owned…and I’ve owned many. High quality, so warm in freezing temps, great size hood, tons of pockets. I was mad at first when my husband spent the money on this jacket but have been so grateful ever since, worth every penny!
