Not Smith's Best

I've been a fan of Smith eyewear for many years and after trying another brand, I decided nothing beats Smith. Well, that's not true with the Lowdown 2 CORE. My biggest gripe is the reflections that appear from the inside of the lens; I'm constantly annoyed by bright light reflecting into my eyes from the inside. The fit is also annoying despite my owning and finding comfort in a previous version of the Lowdown. These sit very close to my eyes and high on my bridge which makes them contact both my brow and lashes, resulting in dirty lenses. They are also uncomfortably tight on my temples. Lastly, I'm just not a fan of the lens on these (grey polarized). Everything looks dull. Bottom line: If you're a vampire, you'll probably love them.

The lowdown core is growing on me. I got the matte tortoise. I wish the tortoise was more noticeable, but it is a very simply classy sunglass. I really like the fact that it is made from recycled bottes. The lack of rubber nose pads hasn't seemed to negatively effect active pursuits. I just wore them for a trail running race and they worked perfect. My old complaint is that the bag, that is also made from recycled bottles, doesn't seem to clean the lenses as well as the normal smith bag.

Amazing

I bought these glasses for my dad and they are amazing he tells me. He play baseball and he uses these glasses when he play in the outfield and he says that he can see the ball clearly when he has these sunglasses on. These sunglasses are amazing quality and they are definitely worth the price you have to pay.

Love these sunglasses. The polarized lenses are high quality and the frames are very comfortable. Very versatile style-wise, can wear in any situation. And very cool that they are made from recycled materials

Sits too close to your face

I loved my previous pair that I sent in for warranty and instead of fixing nosepads I had to order a new pair. This pair sits too close to my nose and forehead causing them to fog up when I'm sweaty.

Lightweight, with a subtle matt finish. Fit is a bit taller and narrower than some other models (Emerge).Have a quality feel to them.

LEO or Fire, look no further. I wear these on my calls and they hold up for me. Tough, durable, and still look good with these on.

Good lenses

Only thing I don't like is that you can see my eyes thru the lenses-- but I think that's the nature of this kind of lense/ color.

Really satisfied with this product. Have owned lots of Smith frames but these are great for the simple fact they are eco-made!
