Win Win for everyone involved!

My old Taravals broke and so I submitted a warranty claim. Sunski was true to their word and that breeds customer loyalty. I picked out a pair of Navy Slate Puertos and they just came in the mail. Sunski's online description was right on the money; style for days, a perfect fit, and well made - the lightest pair for a large frame I've owned. You cannot beat the combination of style, function, value, low impact on our environment, warranty, and superior customer surface. There is madness in Sunski's business model and that's a madness the sunglass industry, and industries in general, from which we can all benefit. Thank you, Sunski.

Light, Comfy, best warranty, best value.

Lightweight. Finish is good, no rough edges. I have a large head and these fit great. The lenses are not super dark which I actually prefer, the polarized lenses help when driving even when cloudy/rainy. The lenses don't have distortion or warping like cheap glasses. The polarizing coating did start to visibly separate around the edges on my older pair after a few years. Those finally broke and I took advantage of the replacement warranty and now I have a new pair of my favorite shades again.

Ok while they lasted

I've had 2 pairs of these in the last 2 years. The plastic frame fractured/splintered after about 1 year for both pairs.

Feelin' hot hot hot

I love these sunglasses! The matte black frame and green tint lenses are perfect! The shape is modern and unique, great coverage without being ridiculously large like many frames these days. I feel they are a tiny bit loose (I have a narrow face) but they don't slip or fall off. Very happy with this purchase. Recommended!

Falling apart after a few days

Pros: Look good. The polarized lenses are decent. Cons: The coating on the frame started to peel after only a few days. It looked like failing clear coat on a 30 year old car that's been left out in the sun. The glasses were not washed with solvents, I don't wear anything weird on my head or use any skin products.

Nice for the active person with a big head

Nice for the active person with a big head. My last pair of Sunski’s were great and really cute but the frame kept breaking on the arm near the logo. After 2 pairs broke at the exact same place (Sunski’s totally honored the warranty above and beyond) I decided to go with a thicker frame and larger fit with excellent results. Since they are unisex they aren’t as cute as the last pair but since I work outside and hike in sunny Southern CA the bigger lenses make a huge difference for my comfort.

Finally, shades that don't pinch my head and face!

I have a wide nose bridge and a larger head by sunglass standards, and I've never been able to wear a normal pair without stressing the frame or getting a headache. These are just perfect for everyday use, with the large frame size being stylish and practical. Only downside is that wind will blow in through the side, but that's nearly all glasses that aren't geared towards athletes. Lifetime warranty and being made from recycled plastics were the push I needed to get them over some Goodr's.

Fine

These feel cheaper than the last pair of "sport" sunglasses I had from Sunski (Novara), which they no longer carry. The other ones had a rubbery texture that felt nicer and more secure, and they had metal hinges (these are plastic-hinged). I know they say these are designed to be light, but that feels more like a copout for a flimsier, cheaper pair of sunglasses rather than a feature. They're not bad, per se, but the quality and value aren't quite what I expected compared to previous pairs.

Chill, comfy, & classy

These are my second pair of Sunskis & I'm loving them, the matte frame finish is perfect for dressing up or dressing down. They're super light weight which is ideal for my various outdoor activities & the tint is nice & dark (which I prefer). All in all I recommend! I prefer a bit larger frame, if you have a smaller face/want a smaller frame then you might want to look at other styles. But these couldn't be a better fit for me!
