I am so bummed that these surf shorts are sheer! I bought the "perennial" color (this picture shows a different color). The shorts are so cute, and fit great, but it shows ALL MY PARTS. I can see my skin through the material even when I hold it in my hand and it is not stretched at all. Not cool. It is only the darker material that is sheer, but that is the critical area.
