Love this shirt
I just bought a second one. Originally purchased it for hiking/ backpacking and rollerblading in the summer months, but I wore it year round. Crazy light and breathable, I run really hot so I kept using it in the winter (sub-freezing temperatures) under my atom lt jacket for hiking, snowshoeing and in-line skating. It's perfect for backpacking trips because it dries so quickly. I've gone swimming in it; barely notice it. I started hand-washing it and just hanging it up to dry. There are a few snags in the material after 1.5 years of daily wear but I still wear it. Loved it so much I bought a second one.
poor quality
Threading throughout the shirt started to frill up and loosen in some areas after a wash. Hopefully I can still return this item.
Well made and packable.
This shirts are really lightweight, packable and they fit nicely the contour of the body. I have performance shirts, but I'm pretty impressed with what OR has done with it.
Lightest Shirt Ever Worn
This shirt was purchased as part of a group of clothes to exercise with in the city and trail. I often hike 4.5 miles around my suburban neighborhood with a 25 lb daypack early in the mornings and climb 30 flights of stairs at my parking deck at work. This shirt wicks moisture, doesn’t chafe, and is super smooth to the touch. Material definitely feels man made and looks different (pattern-wise), but is excellent for high intensity uses and dries in maybe 20% of the time of a normal cotton t-shirt. Seems to run smaller than other Large shirts on my 6’2/220 lb athletic-to”When’s lunch?” frame, but I’m not wearing it for the fashion show. Probably not my choice for out on the town, but excellent hiking shirt that takes up no space or weight. After many trips in both city and light backcountry, no wear shown yet. Keen value proposition when purchased on sale/clearance.
Good shirt, not the best. Breathability lacking
Lightweight, nice reflectivity on logo. Actual performance lacking. The shirt is very good at wicking moisture and distributing it over a large surface area, but the actual breathability of the shirt is lacking. The microgrid array does not actually increase the CFM or permeability of the fabric although the fabric is extremely lightweight. It's honestly quite confusing as it has a sheer or pantyhose texture. Pros: Lightweight Wicking Fast drying Cons: Breathability is lacking If you want a true lightweight extremely breathable shirt, patagonia air chaser is the move. Not this unfortunately. Although this is much more protective against the elements than the air chaser.
Perfect shirt for the AT.
My Echo s/s was perfect for the section hike I just completed on the Appalachian Trail. I hiked and camped 70 miles over 8 days from Hot Springs, NC, to Erwin, TN in record-breaking hot weather. I wore the shirt every step of the way. The wicking and evaporation helped to cool me off and the shirt was usually dry by the time I set up my gear for the night. At just over 3 ounces, it's the lightest shirt I've ever owned.
Light and Comfortable
tl;dr - awesome light shirt for hot days. I've worn it out climbing a few times and it wicks moisture well, wears well, and the cut is right for an average climber build like mine. I'm noticing some pilling the in the fabric on the sleeves, so not a 10 for me. I'll update if durability becomes an issue, but I saw similar pilling with OR pants I own and it hasn't progressed to worse. It's a very thin fabric, so just a heads up. Spent a lot of time in the sun and call the protection plenty good. I did get stung by some wasps through the shirt while leading a pitch, so apparently not bee-proof lol.

Nothing is lighter or more quick-drying
This tshirt is super lightweight, super fast drying, and very comfortable. Due to lightweight fabric it doesn't have as high UPF rating as other layers, but that's always a tradeoff. I love wearing this shirt either alone or layered under other clothes (like my Echo hoodie and Helium rain jacket). Note: it's a trim cut, so if you have a normal middle-aged body like me you may want to go up a size.
Solid Trail Running Shirt
The shirt is extremely light weight, almost feels nonexistent after you are zoned out on a long run. It also does an extremely good job of wicking moisture; I pair it with a Patagonia Houdini often and it keeps the torso of the Houdini from wetting out pretty well. One of my favorite things about the shirt is that it takes on very little water weight even when drenched and it dries out very easily and quickly. I also really like the lichen color. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it doesnt have the absolute most comfortable feel to it, e.g. I can feel the seems and the fabric is not silky like some of my other outdoor/running tees. Overall it performs very well and I love wearing it.

Great for Humidity & Desert
Lightweight, affordable & versatile piece that offers great breathability in humid environments (where I live) and when I tested on several climbs and runs in the desert. Only gripe might be that the UPF 15 protection may not be enough for all day desert or alpine sun protection (makes sense given how lightweight and breathable it is) and the material is so light that abrasion resistance isn't it's strong suit but still performed very well. Given it's great performance in all other categories I'd say it's a win especially for the price. Additionally smell is an issue after extended use just like most polyester fabrics but that's a given and dries so quickly not a concern. 6'1" 180lbs size L fits great.
