Smaller than it looks

I bought this based on the measurements on the website being able to fit an iPad mini but my best guess is that I’m terrible at measuring, there’s no way a mini would ever fit in here. I used it during a 4 day concert weekend to hold a glasses case with sunglasses, a Thread wallet with 2 cards and my license, a small bag of ibuprofen, and a few other little things. I used a clip on the strap to hold my earplug case and a Nalgene bottle. I ended up ordering the next size up (Mantis 2) which came today and is a much better size for what I’d like to use it for. I’ll still keep the Mantis 1 for when I only need to a carry a few small things.

Functional little bag

I just received the new mantis in synth/techno and love the color! It’s a hot pink/magenta berry in person bright but not neon bright. Compared to the previous model, I’d say this version is slightly smaller. The interior zipper pocket and key clip moved to the main compartment along the backside. My large phone fits in the exterior back slip pocket though it does stick out at the top. The crossbody straps are less wide and thinner however I can swap out the removable straps to customize it. Still one of the best belt bags with great organization!

Great on-the-go travel pack!

This bag is great for keeping your most important travel items within reach on whatever journey you plan to take! There are compartments help keep the essentials organized and accessible no matter how you choose to wear it. I carry my passport, phone, keys, tickets, and cards and cash through the airport, or fill it with granola bars, sunscreen, and bug spray for the perfect lightweight hiking waistpack. I originally bought one in orange but couldn't resist buying another when I saw this color at REI. Versatile, practical, and an all around great accessory.

Essential for Travel

I’m not really a murse type of guy, but I needed a bag to carry my essentials while travelling in Thailand. After using the Mantis 1 for two weeks, I will never again travel without it. It’s sized just right. I often forgot I was carrying it. It can hold everything I need for a day of exploring. It has two main compartments and a handy zipped compartment within one of those. This ‘secret’ compartment is ideal for travel valuables…cash, driver’s license, passport, etc. The best feature is the phone sleeve in the back of the bag. It holds my iPhone securely, well hidden and easily accessible. I never thought I’d be this excited about a murse!!

Compact yet roomy!

I'm so surprised by how much I'm able to fit in this small waistpack. It's small yet holds my phone, a little notebook, keys, glasses, a small wallet, and a bunch of makeup products. I especially appreciate all the little compartments/pockets and zippers so I can organize everything. I also like the outside pocket on the back side of the waistpack, which fits my phone perfectly! I'm able to put my phone away securely without opening the bag. The material is durable although it does feel a bit heavy. If I have the pack full, it can be a bit too much for me to carry around. But other than that, it's a very convenient and thoughtful design!

Love it so much that I'm buying 1 or 2 more.

This is perfect size, well made, quality light weight fabric, the functionalities exceeds my expectations. Well thought out design to the smallest details, from zippers to pockets. There is an interior hook in the front pocket for things like keys. The back have a slot pocket that is perfect or my iphone - it fits so perfect that I am not afraid of it slipping out for the most part. Very comfortable and good size for both men and petite females. It's so lightweight and comfortable, at time I forget I have it hanging on my waist. I can fit my phone, extra masks, travel size packet of wipes, thin wallet, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, lotion.

Mantis bag zip issue

I bought this bag 2 years ago. After 8 months the main zip broke so i bough a new one. The same thing happend after 8 months - the main zip broke. I live in morocco and spend all my time in the outdoors and need a reliable waist bag. This is not it. It has an 8 months expiry date. I went to look at the latest model yesterday in a shop in Sweden. For a while I considered buying my third one but had a bad feeling of the new design. Black. From looking at the website photo. In real life it was even worse. the fabric has now changed to some very bad quality plastic. This company is not producing good quality products anymore. They lost it.

Hidden Gem

I bought this bag a while bag to have as part of my collection of waist/fanny/sling bags. It is much bigger than the 1.5 liters and it is extremely well made and compartmentalized. But sometimes I get bored of wearing my bags and just want to carry them. This bag being a bit larger really doesn't lend itself to just hand hold it. But today I discovered that by folding one side of the strap and putting in the strap keeper compartment, I can make a small handle with the strap! Now I carry it by the "handle" if I want and can throw it in the car and grab and go. This really is a nice feature that will now have me using this bag more.

Great little pack

I bought this pack mainly for travel so I can fit my passport, phone and little essentials going through airport whilst I also carry a backpack for my laptop, bottle etc. I love it. It is really handy for so many occasions: Dog walking (phone, keys, lipbalm and doggy bags/treats) Travel (carry essentials and perfect for airport) Popping to the shop (phone, keys, wallet and grocery bag) Pub trip, night out.... I got the black design with gold logo (really wanted the older gold/brown but that sold out).
