Pretty cool cup!
Like the twist top, needs a little bit more in the opening for a straw. Not much just enough for metal one, maybe a millimeter or two. Love the handle! Need a bigger one.
Excellent Mug! Love it!
Excellent mug! I have been waiting a long time to purchase this specific mug. I was traveling overseas and the brand was not available for purchase. Love the stronghold lid design
Liked at first but then...
Was great but leaks a ton now.. I've tried everything to remedy the situation but I find myself using a much cheaper brand I wont name here much more. Also, the handle on the Rambler is not comfortable to hold for sustained periods. As for positives, tje packaging & shipping was excellent & the color was really nice looking. Anesthetically, Yetis are very nice. However, unfortunately, I cant recommend ot with the model I have now. Definitely not happy about iy leaking no matter how I get the seal tight. Maybe I'll find another one I like though.
Disappointed long time customer
The lid opening doesn't line up with my husband's mouth when holding the handle. He 1st one did so I thought that is how it was made. When I called they said they make it to work that way. Sorry. I asked to return it and was told to because I already put a liquid in it!! So disappointed. As a family that camps a lot and owns many yeti products, I will think differently at future products. Disappointed with the yeti company. I just wanted an exchange.

2 buy or not 2 buy
I didnt think id like a travel mug at first because you cant change the sliders, but after my sister gave me one..I LOVE THIS CUP! I now have 4 of varying colors. The new blue is my most recent and its such a beautiful vibrant color. Great job YETI.
Great mug. Awful, awful lid design.
The mug itself is great. I got this version of the Rambler because my wife wanted one with a handle, as her hands are too small for the versions without. This fits in the car cup holder, keeps coffee warm for hours, and looks great. Love the color. The deal-breaker issue is the awful “stronghold” lid. Since it is a threaded lid it can ONLY go on one way, and once on, the spout isn’t where it should be relative to the handle making the drinking angle really awkward. To even get it close to an ok angle you need to muscle it closed more than you would want to. Then, after hot coffee it becomes impossible to unscrew. I’m not sure why they changed the lid on this version to something so difficult to use and awkward.

YETY ! Awesome! This is my favorite mug.
Awesome! This is my favorite mug. YETY is a good thing.
A leaky mess. Stronghold needs a serious rethink.
For keeping your drink at temperature, this is a great mug. For keeping your drink INSIDE the cup? Not so much. I got this based on the “leak resistant” wording, in the belief that it would suit my klutzy, outdoors and constantly on the go life- chuck the empty cup in my bag, and I’d have no need to worry about that last tiny drizzle talking out my laptop. Put it beside me on a chair or bench, and have plenty of time to right it before the papers it’s fallen onto are drenched beyond repair? Unfortunately, not quite. If the slider is closed, it loses around 3-5ml/second from under the slider itself. That’s the opposite of leak resistant. Having pulled it apart and adjusted the gaskets, it’s pretty clear that the leaking comes down to two poor design choices. Firstly, having channels on both sides of the lower slider completely negates any benefit from the gasket. Could easily be fixed by filling that side in on the master molds. On the upper, a gasketed lip of 1-2mm designed to fit the spout would provide some further protection. Highly disappointed at just how close this came to being exactly what I needed, and yet it landed so far away as to have been a detriment. Here’s hoping that the slider is updated quickly, and replacements offered to everyone who’s purchased under the premise of some protection from leaks.

Great at keeping drinks hot but lid leaks.
It does a great job of keeping coffee and tea hot for hours. Downside the lid leaks. I've had it leak all over my shirt at work which makes it unusable.
Don’t know…
I probably should have checked the reviews more thoroughly. I didn’t want a bigger mug so I just went with this. I wish I could replace the lid with a straw lid. I bought both together, only realizing this mug’s lid is irreplacable. :( There sometimes is a leak. I think it maybe has to do with how you close the lid? I make sure I close it tight but sometimes there are leaks while sometimes there aren’t. I’m still trying to figure it out. The color is SO pretty though. Please make a straw lid for this mug.
