Run very small
I wear a size 8 in pants. I guess I could've gotten a size 9, but I ordered these shorts in a 7. They were so small, I couldn't get them past my hips - I thought I'd missed a button! May want to consider this before purchasing. Definitely would not be slipping these on if they were wet!
Size is too small
I normally wear a 2-4 and read the reviews and ordered a 5, it was still so small I couldn't pull it over my hips. Beware of erroneous sizing on these shorts, they run very small.
Sturdy and well made board shorts
I read the prior reviews before placing my order, and hoped for the best. I'm usually a size 0 or 2 in short, and I ordered a 3 and they fit great. The waist opened up large enough to allow room to pull them over my hips. Then, you can lace them up and they stay laced. Great shorts.
