Best Pants Ever
These pants are a little pricey but well worth the money. I love the fit, they are super stretchy and comfortable. I feel like I could wear them to bed. They also look great and are fairly warm in cold weather. The amount of room in the pockets is also excellent. These pants are well worth the money!

Duer has a zipper problem
Pants are amazing, but as others have said, the cheap zipper consistently fails in 6-8 months. It has happened to six pairs of pants, same spot every time. Luckily REI has a nice return policy so I just take them back and get new ones. I had bought one pair direct from Duer that it happened to and their response was that they would reimburse to repair the zipper… but took to my local seamstress and they said repair was not feasible. They are 5 star pants for six months, but just wait til you’re at work one day with your fly stuck down. I hope they address the zipper problem soon.

Very comfy but I can’t wear them

I love these pants. They fit fantastically and are as comfortable as my favorite pajamas. Unfortunately, I can rarely wear them. Every time I wash them, the tag bleeds all over anything else in the laundry. I figured out it’s better if I wash them inside out, but it still leaves brown spots on the pants themselves. Sometimes it’s just a little bit but most times it’s just everywhere on the pants and I can’t wear them in public. It does come out in the next wash, but then it’s in different spots after that wash. I really do love these pants, but they’re basically just expensive pajamas most of the time.

“Jeggings” - leggings, not jeans

These are not relaxed fit- they are yoga pants with pockets and a zipper. I’m 6’3” 195lb with a typical athletic build- not slim but not huge. These “relaxed fit” pants cling like spandex and look ridiculous. I can’t imagine what the “slim fit” pants would be. But material is soft, and if I didn’t mind everyone seeing the every contour of my body below the waist, they would probably be pretty functional. The material is really comfy and stretches nicely, so I can’t take away all the stars. So if you like a little space between your skin and your pants and don’t want to feel compressed, skip these. This is the most severe iteration of the skinny jean fad I’ve seen.

Great pants, just on the expensive side!

After a week of wearing them they have not let me down. The sizing is accurate. I have bigger legs so these fit a little tighter than expected but they have a good amount of stretch laterally (not 4-way stretch) but does offer enough room to move around in and have more mobility in. The tapered pant leg does fit into boots without over stretching the calf area of the pant. after one wash some threads have started to come loose but nothing major. I would buy more if they were closer to the $90-$100 range but I have a pair of lulu ABC's that these mimic and the ABC's are holding up much better with 4 way stretch without losing durability. The zipper seems fine so far.

Favorite pants until the zipper broke

These were my all-time favorite pants until the zipper failed. Came completely torn off the pants. Two years old so likely nothing I can do with REI or DUER to fix but really disappointed because I wore these all the time and am not sure about replacing them. See a number of other reviews re: faulty zipper.

Don't Buy From DUER. Poor customer service.

DON'T BUY DUER! The zipper fell off after 1 year of use and Duer told me "too bad, so sad" and they won't warranty or fix. These are in excellent condition, no abuse at all. I have Levi's that are 20 years old where the zipper is fine.

Zipper failed on 2 pairs

These pants are so comfortable that I bought 3 pairs of them. But within 6 months 2 of those 3 have had their zippers tear horizontally during normal wear. The fabric between the teeth of the zippers split and the zipper itself came open. In fact, I'm currently at work, an hour from home, with my fly undone because of these pants' poorly made zippers. Thanks, DU/ER. I'll be returning this second pair to REI too.

Wore out in less than a year, otherwise great

Didn't even last a year! Great pants but they have huge holes in the crotch from wearing them all the time. Way too expensive to have to replace every year. Too bad, because they fit great, look good, and are super stretchy and comfy.

Incredible comfort, strange wear

These are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn, hands down Some pants get softer, easier to wear, as time goes by; these were spectacular right out the gate Some days I wash them just so I can wear them again the next day I have other "performance" fabric pants and none of them hold a candle to DU/ER But they have developed strange wears spots Several (small) areas have lost one part of the fabric It's like an old hand-tied rug: the rug is still there but the knotted part of the weave has worn away I think the tencel was gone, leaving the spandexI don't care, I will wear them until all that's left is spandex Seriously, they are that comfortable

Great fit, durability

I love these pants. I bought the tobacco color and have been waiting for new colors to become available because I like them so much. I’ve worn them for rugged desert hikes, rock climbing, building projects, and they still look nice enough to wear to work. They’ve come clean every time and held up to all kinds of wear and tear. I feel for those who had zipper malfunctions—mine have not—as they missed out on a great pair of pants. For those buying on line and considering the tobacco color way, I’ve found that it’s matchable with many colored shirts, if that sort of thing matter to you.
