Great boots, just a little snug.
I bought these boots in my regular shoe size. The first time I put them on, I was worried they were too small. The boot is very tight around the bottom lace, I could barely get my foot in. Over time, I learned to really loosen up the laces and not wear thick socks (honestly not needed for these boots). On the plus side, I'm breaking them in so it's not such a hassle anymore. Overall, I really love these boots, but they're just a bit snug. If I were to buy these again, I'd go a half size up.
Snowshoeing compatible!
Bought these and wore snowshoeing the next day for 6+ miles. Worked great. Kept my feet warm and dry, and basically no time needed to wear them in. Definitely recommend!
solid pair of boots
I am very happy with these boots! They are quite a bit darker than they appear in the picture--I'd describe them as more of an "espresso" color than a "caramel" color. I find them to be a little narrower than other Merrell boots I've owned before (which for me was a bonus), but otherwise the fit is true to size. The traction and warmth are exceptional, I feel secure even walking down an ice-rink of a parking ramp being pulled by an excitable, XL dog. Haven't tested them out on any trails yet, but I have no doubt they'd do well with or without crampons.
I like but...
I would give this shoe a five rating if it wasnt for the tightness across the top of my right foot. Seems like something has been sewed very tightly which causes my foot to become slightly numb. I've been wearing it in incriments of 15 minutes with a thick sock to see if i can loosen it. Otherwise, I might have to take a pair of scissor and try to cut some stitching. Other than that, the left shoe is perfect and comfy. Will be a fantastic pair of boots once I correct this right shoe situation.

Exactly what I was looking for
These boots were comfortable out of the box. I use Rx orthotics and they work perfectly in the boots. I’ve walked miles in them. They aren’t my warmest pair of boots, but with thick socks I’m comfortable when I’m on the move. I like that these boots are low profile enough to wear with jeans and fit well under snow pants. I wish the traction was a little better like a hiking boot, but other than that, these are perfect.
Supportive boot
I love these new boots, although I did have to return them. I bought a half size up but they were still too small. I had to go an entire size up. I returned for the black ones a size up from what I normally wear. The shoelaces are not as blue as they are in the picture- actually cuter. I can’t wait to try them in the snow. They are a well fitting sturdy boot. Somewhat heavy but good support.
NOT WATERPROOF
I bought these boots for warmer snowy days in the Rockies and these boots did not hold up. My feet were soaked minutes after starting to hike, and the seal is already ripping(I’ve had them less than 3 months) . They’re great for casual wear but they do not hold up against any actual weather. Do not buy these if you want dry feet or if you’re walking through any snow.

Great features
I just received these a few days ago. They are perfect for my long walks. Unfortunately the right boot is digging in to my ankle as if the plastic mold of the boot is made wrong. I now have a large blister on my ankle. The left foot is awesome. I am trying a feltpack in the bottom of the boot to reposition my foot. Otherwise these boots would be 5 star.
Exactly what I was looking for
True to size, comfortable, warm. Have worn them just about every day since receiving them. I initially purchased to keep feet dry in the rain, but we’ve since gotten snow, and I have worn them in this as well. Only thing that I can say might be a negative is traction; I have felt myself slip on wet flooring. Overall, would buy again.
Warm and dry
These boots are cuter than I thought they’d be. But even better is they keep my feet very warm and dry. I have been out walking through snow and rain and have not felt any moisture come in. The lining was uncomfortable on my heel at first, but after the first few wears, they loosened up and are now super comfy.
