Purchased these to hold my face mask
Please let customers choose their fave colors!
During these pandemic times, it's hard to remember not to lose all your essentials (glasses, hand sanitizer, mask, wallet, keys, phone) when you need to leave the house. I got the glasses retainer to let me have 1 less thing to worry about misplacing. I really wish REI will let customers choose their favourite colour. I went on the Croakie's website to see the colour selection, and ordered SEVEN of these retainers in the hope that the person who ends up packing my order will give me an assorted selection of colors to pick from. I ended up getting 2 of the blue camo, 2 of the black, and 3 of the navy. The colour I really wanted to see in person and try with my sunglasses is the smores colour, purple multi colour, neon pink multi and the hunter colour. Unfortunately will be returning my whole order. A shame really because I do want to keep at least one of these but alas. Maybe better to shop in-store safely or order directly from the Croakies website ya know. Sigh. I've attached a photo so you can see how the colors look in real life.
Functional and Fashionable
My old sunglasses fell off my face while climbing at Smith Rock and fell to the ground during pitch 4 of Wherever I May Roam. After purchasing these I haven’t dropped my sunglasses yet. My sunglasses have fallen off my face, but this handy doodad kept my sunglasses safe and secure around my neck. They’re also great for looking extra stylish when you take your sunglasses off to go indoors. 10:10 much endorse.
Good value Croakie
I have eight pairs of sunglasses. Why? Because I constantly lose them, break them, give them away, something is always happening. But I can't travel with eight pairs so ( decided to try the "old lady" trick and get a croakie. a. It's colorful so easy to spot, b. It never fell off so I didn't lose my sun glasses c. It wasn't uncomfortable even with COVID mask on. This little in gadget will save me a fortune in sunglasses too.
Croakie
I mean...it is a good product...but when ordering it shows 5 multi colored croakies. Make sure you understand (which I did not) that you would be getting only 1 croakie of whatever color they decide. Using a plural (asst. colorS) and showing 5 croakies on the order, lead me to think there would be more than 1..and that one teeny Croaky came in a 6x11 box (yikes).
Only one cord
I didn't realize from the picture and description that the package only contains one cord, rather than assortment of cords of different colors. That's why I purchased this over other options, but the quality seems fine.
Nice if you like short ones
Works like it should. It’s a little short for my preferences, but I probably didn’t read the description very closely.
Practical Stocking stuffer
Durable cord. Works for daily use or just with sunglasses, or move between the two.
Misleading
Definitely leads you to believe you are getting a pack of them. Also a lot of wrapping and unnecessary packaging for such a small item.
Thankful
Comfortable way to keep (sun)glasses from sliding down your nose while biking, hiking, working outsider, etc.
